Just wondering if when they did the reassignments of savanna view rooms to standard, if some of those were at Jambo house? Just wondering if the number of rooms in standard category at Jambo house increased. We might be wanting to add on to our trip in June (8-15) and would need a value or standard studio at Jambo house and not sure what my odds are at this point.
I don't know if any savanna view rooms were reassigned at Kidani, but quite a few were reassigned at Jambo. How do I know: I keep getting the reassigned savanna rooms and, honestly, I would just as soon have the pool view room I was guaranteed before the change.

Remember, any reassigned savanna room was considered "substandard" for a savanna view.
The first reassigned room we got last June had a decent view of the savanna, but was the absolute
last room on the north side of the resort. Sometimes, it was exhausting to walk there and forget getting any value from your refillable mug. Also, to the right of the balcony was the outside staircase that juts out into your view line with all of the enormous heavy fire fighting equipment.
This recent December, I again tried my luck with a standard view - requesting a pool view. Nope - got another "ugly" savanna view with the commercial heating and air conditioning units [or laundry service] for the resort to the left of the balcony - it was so loud and I love sitting on my balcony. I called the front desk and they graciously offered to move me; I was so pleased. Until, I realized it was again the absolute
last room on the north side of the resort. I got it twice in one year.

One positive, it's very very quiet in that room.
Of course, that's why it's a "standard view", you really don't get the right to complain about the view with the low use of points. I get it, I truly do. But, I do miss the guaranteed pool view standard from the old days.
