JAMBO Everybody...An August 2011 TR (Completed May 13)

Good morning everyone! I told you in my last post that we were heading to Captains Grille but we were actually heading to Cape May! Temporarily forget where we were going! So now that I have this all figured outwe headed down to catch the bus to DHS and then we would be taking the boat to the Yacht and Beach Club....which is also Jasmine's favorite resort!

Me and my girl waiting for the bus! We had such a great and relaxing day and I think it really showed in everyone this evening...we were all rested and ready for a wonderful dinner!

Jeff and Jasmine waiting for the bus...we never seemed to wait for a bus so when we actually did wait, I usually grabbed a shot at the bus stop! I wish I had taken more pictures of Peg and her family but I thought she would be on here posting too, but she really is very busy!

Jasmine and MM at the Yacht Club! It is so beautiful in here I could just hang out in the lobby and watch the world go by!

Notice MM's hoodie, this was her birthday present from Jasmine and Jeff...it really was far too warm for her to wear it, but she insisted...she loves that hoodie!

Heading over to the restaurant! Sometimes I just like to follow a few steps behind and watch my family enjoy themselves! We really are so blessed to have these vacations and the fact that we all vacation so well together is also a blessing!

The kids being goofy in the gift shop! I thought this gift shop was wonderful and I could have spent a fortune on the H20 products that disney sells but I restained myself and I'm glad I did. Jasmine's store gets these products in all the time and they are usually on clearance so I buy them there for $5. Gotta love that!

Me and Jas! I was waiting for my delicious cocktail to arrive so we were taking some pictures!

Here it is...don't have a clue what it was now but it was something ginger and it was just ok....I should have got the magical star cocktail...now that was delicious!

Jeff's approval with the buffet! I can't remember how many plates he had and I actually didn't take any pictures of our food! I tried to take my camera up to the buffet but it was so crowded so it was too hard to try and take pictures. I can tell you tho that it was one of the best buffets we've had on property and although it's pricey we felt it was worth every penny!

Once we were finished our dinner we went out to wait for the boat to take us to DHS where we would catch the bus back to our resort. We had talked about heading to DTD but everyone was ready to head home for bed!

The four of us managed to get some seats at the back of the boat but I think Peg, Geodoc, and SW all headed inside!

Cape May Cafe was one of our favorites on our last trip, and I'm really glad you guys liked it as well.

I love the shot that Jasmine took of the boardwalk, it's amazing how it looks like two different hotels from day to night.

You guys all looked so happy to be enjoying this evening all together at WDW and it definitely shows in the photos.

And I just wanted to clarify something: Did you mean that you've found the
H20 products at Jasmine's store? If so I will have to check that out. We really wanted to buy some there but just didn't have the room left in my suitcase so we will definitely have to check them out there.

Yes....I bought the body butter, shower creme, shampoo and a body scrub and they were all $5!!! Beats the $20 you pay at Disney and you don't have to lug it home in your luggage! They were all in the clearance section! I hope you have some luck with it!

We love using the boat from DHS to any of the resorts or WS....we love to get the seats and the back and just sit back and enjoy! Jasmine has been very blessed with beautiful skin that is for sure! Thanks...I will pass that along to her

Thank you Dawn Jeff has that one framed...it's his favorite too along with one he took of her on the dock that night....I wish he would get me a print of it because right now it's just on his phone

Aww thanks Kathy I honestly think it was because we had such a relaxing day! We are going to do more of those on upcoming trips!

I'm with you on the price, it is high! We were lucky that we had the TIW card!

I love that picture too....they really are great kids and so much fun! I don't know many families/friends that can vacation together for 2 weeks and have no issues and we had none!

Her and Jasmine are very close...they are stuck to each other like glue! If Jeff is around tho, she tends to go with him because he does crafts and plays with the girls...Jasmine's not exactly crafty

Aww you are so sweet, thanks Mary Ellen! Glowing I think is the perfect word! She tends to be very pale...she looks like a porcelan doll in the winter, so she loves when she actually gets some color! I really like the one of Peg, Jas and I...She loved that sweatshirt! I'm sure she must have been sweating buckets on the boat but she wouldn't take it off!

I love the smell in there, I don't know what it is, but I love it! I just like to wander around taking big sniffs...wait, that sounds weird

I have to agree, I find Akershus very pricey and I didn't love the food, but here I love the food! It's on our list of maybe for this trip but we haven't made a final decision! Jasmine loves fish and seafood so she does get her monies worth here!

And then you see the people who are stressed out to the max and they're fighting and yelling and... you get the idea. I like your way better.

She needs a vacay after her vacay just to upload her pics!

I can tell you tho that it was one of the best buffets we've had on property and although it's pricey we felt it was worth every penny!

I agree with having a down day..to relax and take it easy.

With longer trips you can do that and still get everything in. My comando days are over..thank goodness.

Cape May diner is on my to do list...I have shied away from it because I don't care for seafood.
I hear there's lots to eat for land lovers too so I am making an ADR this time.

We had the breakfast in January and it was lovely! Loved the restaurant and the resort.
Jasmine has great taste cause it's my dream resort too.

Awww, to be young and in love is so cute! They do make a great couple.

We sure are lucky! I love the fact that our kids are all growing up together too....we never had cousins around because my parents immigrated to Canada so we never had family around us!
