My son will be turning 5 at the end of Sept. well his new favorite show is Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Well I have been looking everywhere for some decorations of Jake and cant find any! I thought maybe he wouldnt mind getting just some pirate decor. but nope. he said mommy thats not Jake. we are having his party at this bowling alley since he loves bowling to! its got these tvs at the end of the lanes where they put on cartoons. im going to see if they will play the Jake and the Neverland Pirates dvd that im getting when it comes out (9/27). I will also be renting out the cosmo lanes. its all glow in the dark/neon lights type thing. he is going to be so excited! party: cause he doesnt know we are going bowling! so anyone know of anywhere i can get JNP decor.? i already know to print out invites from disneyjr.com.

There are no official party supplies. If you go on ebay, there are people who sell pinatas and edible cake toppers etc made using the graphics (though I'm sure this is a copyright violation so use your own judgement there).

Before our trip to WDW in May, my kids were obsessed w/Jake. Dd was desperate for an Izzy costume. There was nothing to be found thru official Dinsey options (where I would have gladly spent a bunch of money) - so I looked on Etsy and found lots of things.

On the Disney Junior web site, there are a bunch of coloring sheets that you can print out - they are meant as coloring sheets, but you can use them for decorations.

When we were at WDW, we actually bought a set of little Peter Pan figurines b/c that included Hook, Smee, and Tick tock croc. It was as close as we could get to a Jake set... I'm sure Disney will start selling Jake merchandise soon, but they missed out on alot of money from us in May...

I had to make my own Donald decorations last year because my son only liked "Duck" not Mickey. I printed pictures of Donald on stickers and put them on cups and the center of a generic pinata. I also made the little things that hang down from the ceiling by buying some Mickey Mouse ones and covering them with Donald. I'd say just print out Jake stuff on sticker paper and go crazy. We used plain colored cups and plates that went with the color scheme (red and blue). Good luck!

Check the Creative DISigns Board here. Lots of great stuff there. Several DISers make Jake & the NL Pirates graphics and will personalize with your son's name. I'm going to make t-shirts (iron on images) for our August trip for our youngest. He is totally into Jake and all things pirate!

I really don't understand Disney sometimes. The put out a new show that kids love, but do no merchandising. Now, if this were yet another princess, I guarantee The Disney Store would be plastered with stuff.

WDW missed out on a $100 purchase in late June.

Before my family left on our WDW trip in June, a friend of mine gave me $100 & asked me to buy ANYTHING that was related to that show. pirate:

I spent 10 days in WDW, many of those searching high & low for any Jake souvenirs. Finally on my Hollywood Studios day, I talked to a guy working over at the building that has that show, he told me there is NOTHING yet. So I finally gave up.

When we came back from our trip, I handed my friend back her $100. :sad2:

When my daughter turned two she wanted a SMURF party????
Of course there was no smurf party stuff!!

I went online and started looking for smurf images and went crazy.

I did find a vintage pan to make her a smurfette cake but that was it.

After this- If was cheaper to make my own decoration by glueing stuff on generic happy birthday sign, glued some on some blue and white mylar balloons... the part was SMURFED out... and just used colored streamers that matched... It was actually cuter because everything was custom and it was reallly really cheaper...

This year she wants a pony party and thier is supplies out there in the market but I will be making my own- it was fun and more special. I will let her help! Great Crafts-for kids.
