Jaime's Flower Power Trip! NEW 7/05 CH. 62: The "Really" End **COMPLETED**

Jaime, hope you have a fun day. I think family game days are great! You can do a lot of bonding along with the harassment. My family always played canasta, and I can remember sitting in someone's lap and watching from the time I was too small to play. Now there are certain members of my family who take games a little TOO seriously, so it is sometimes fun to watch the fireworks, and their valiant efforts to control the bad sportsmanship gene when they lose! :crazy2: :furious: To this day, when we get together there is usually a game, and everyone wants to play with my 94 year old mother, because she can still teach us a thing or two. :rotfl: We played lots of board games with our kids, and that is a big thing to do with my grandchildren, including Pretty, Pretty Princess, which is more fun when the guys have to play. You inspired me to post the results of some of my pre-trip shopping here I did NOT post the rest of my shoes, though. That would be a little too scary. :scared1: I can't wear the crocs (feet are too narrow) but wish I could. Birks and Tevas are my favs, but I wear sandals pretty much year round. (Perks of living in the south!) :cool1:

You are totally rubbing off on me Lady...

I took pictures of the outfit I bought at the Disney store last night! (not yet uploaded tho...I still have a month...)

We get to see the new POTC while in Cali and I picked me up a pink pirates top for that night and pants to match. (I caught a sale on Disney's clearance stuff and only paid $20 for the whole outfit!)

I too cannot wait for your return,

I am soooo looking forward the the antics of this outing~

LY girl MI,

Hey there, don't know what your plans are for the the 4th, but we got a meet started for Solo and Adult travelers at the Adventurer's Club that night. We are meeting at 9pm.

The foot is not happy. :sad2: It’s sure not ready for a week in Disney! But it’s going. Whether it likes it or not. I will follow my own advice: I will walk it off – suck it up take it like a man!

Oh, I see.....Tough Guy, eh??
Jamie, how about ICE, REST, ELEVATE, and MEDICATE???

Oooohhhhh..... so the "RN" in your name doesn't stand for "Really Nice", huh??? :rotfl2:

Today was the last doctor appt. before the trip - he really stepped (no pun intended!) it up this time - steroid shot (right in the scar!) and a 6 day course of steroids starting tomorrow. Ice, heat (he stressed heat and I had to promise to hit the hot tub at least once a day :sad1: :rotfl: ), elevation, braces. He applauded my refilling the Vicodin. He told me it could be as much as 5 years before all the scar tissue is absorbed, and when he did the shot, he said there was a lot of scar tissue.

I would love that - let's check the schedule... Hoop-Dee-Doo at 7:15, then Electric Water agent from the beach... Keys to the Kingdom Tour the next morning... arg, it's going to depend on my foot honestly... I could grab a bus from Ft. Wilderness to Pleasure Island, and I even have a PI ticket that's been burning a hole in my wallet forever.... but I have sworn not to push the foot too hard this trip. I should probably know when we meet up on the 1st.

 Can't wait to hear all about your trip - and the differences you find between the 2 parks...

Let's all hope I'm not too drugged to remember this whole outing! Otherwise, Rhonda will have to write the report - that means NO PICTURES!!! (She can take them, she just can't post them!) :thumbsup2

LY/MI back!!!

We had a great day! Bill refused to play Pretty, Pretty Princess with the girls, but he did lose 3 games of Connect Four to 6YO Lauren! We played a couple of group games and had a great bar-b-q!

We also had that person in our family that took all the games too seriously - I divorced him.

We also play Canasta - learned from a computer game! Stephani, Meghan, me, and Steph's friend, Brian, would play all the time before the older 2 went off to colleges... it was like old times at Christmas when they were both back. You know you have good kids when they sit around and play Canasta, Cribbage, and Pretty, Pretty Princess all night every weekend!

I love the shopping pictures popping up everywhere! :rotfl2: I think nebo should do that for his May trip! :lmao:

uh Jaime????? You may be doing the Hoop Dee Doo on the 4th:confused: but Ruth, Sandy and I will be at Le Cellier at 7:30. :woohoo:
You need to check your schedule again dear:rotfl:

Oh you poor, poor little thing!! ;) That's rough.....

Kathy

I told y'all that as soon as I got something wrong, buig sis would be all over it! You're right - I was looking at the wrong day on the calender! But that makes it even more likely that I can't make the AC meet - 7:30 LeCellier and then EMH at EPCOT... It's our last night.... :sad1:

3 DAYS!!!

Glad it's not this morning! It's POURING here!! Don't like to fly in the rain. :happytv: Don't like to FLY!!!

Ugh! I'm so far behind with everything - work, packing, catching up on your PTR and all my other subs! Only 7 more days until we head out to see the mouse... :cool1: :dance3: :cheer2: :woohoo: WOOO HOOO!!!

I did want to jump out here though before you leave and say HAVE A GREAT TRIP! :goodvibes I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back. And take care of that foot, don't overdo it or you'll just end up paying for it later.

Jaime: Okay, now I am worried about those piggies. Do you need me to come push you in that wheelchair? Perhaps I need to help out here! :) I'm just saying.......

I am excited it is so close now. If I don't get another chance to tell you....

Have a wonderful time, take soooo many pictures and note the details. Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!!!! :)

Be safe and take care of the piggies :)

That's very sweet, Kelly, to offer to come with just to push me around in the wheelchair... you're really a caring, giving, loving person... with an agenda, of course!

So hard to believe that in just over 24 hours, I'll be boarding a plane! WHOSE DUMB IDEA WAS A PLANE?!?!?!?! :scared1: WHERE ARE MY PILLS?!?!?!?!?!

Have a great trip! And now you have us all singing along! :dance3:

---------

I'd like to say I'm signing out until we get back, but any of you who know me at all know I'll be checking in at 3am!!! :surfweb:

Wow Naturegrl - It is a small world - same trip dates and same hotel. Hopefully we will run into each other. There will be 4 of us, dress in matchy matchy shirts each day, of course with some lime green in there somewhere so hopefully we shouldn't be too hard to spot.

Sorry to hijack Jaime. Have a great trip and if you ever get to see Nebo say Hi for me. I bet the two of you together would just be a riot.

Just dropping by to wish you pixiedust: for a fabulous trip! Looking forward to another great report....

Kathy
