Oh, I see.....Tough Guy, eh??
Jamie, how about ICE, REST, ELEVATE, and MEDICATE???
Kathy
Oooohhhhh..... so the "
RN" in your name
doesn't stand for "
Really
Nice", huh???
Today was the last doctor appt. before the trip - he really stepped (no pun intended!) it up this time - steroid shot (right in the scar!) and a 6 day course of steroids starting tomorrow. Ice, heat (he
stressed heat and I had to promise to hit the hot tub at least once a day

), elevation, braces. He applauded my refilling the Vicodin. He told me it could be as much as 5 years before all the scar tissue is absorbed, and when he did the shot, he said there was a lot of scar tissue.
Hey there, don't know what your plans are for the the 4th, but we got a meet started for Solo and Adult travelers at the Adventurer's Club that night. We are meeting at 9pm.
I would love that - let's check the schedule... Hoop-Dee-Doo at 7:15, then Electric Water agent from the beach... Keys to the Kingdom Tour the next morning... arg, it's going to depend on my foot honestly... I could grab a bus from Ft. Wilderness to Pleasure Island, and I even have a PI ticket that's been burning a hole in my wallet forever.... but I have sworn not to push the foot too hard this trip. I should probably know when we meet up on the 1st.
You are totally rubbing off on me Lady...
I took pictures of the outfit I bought at the
Disney store last night! (not yet uploaded tho...I still have a month...)
I too cannot wait for your return,
I am soooo looking forward the the antics of this outing~
LY girl MI,
Tigger(belle)wannabe

Can't wait to hear all about your trip - and the differences
you find between the 2 parks...
Let's all hope I'm not too drugged to remember this whole outing! Otherwise, Rhonda will have to write the report - that means NO PICTURES!!! (She can
take them, she just can't
post them!)
LY/MI back!!!
Jaime, hope you have a fun day. I think family game days are great!

You can do a lot of bonding along with the harassment.

My family always played canasta, and I can remember sitting in someone's lap and watching from the time I was too small to play. Now there are certain members of my family who take games a little TOO seriously, so it is sometimes fun to watch the fireworks, and their valiant efforts to control the bad sportsmanship gene when they lose!
You inspired me to post the results of some of my pre-trip shopping
here I did NOT post the rest of my shoes, though. That would be a little too scary.

I can't wear the
crocs (feet are too narrow) but wish I could. Birks and Tevas are my favs, but I wear sandals pretty much year round. (Perks of living in the south!)
We had a great day! Bill refused to play Pretty, Pretty Princess with the girls, but he did lose 3 games of Connect Four to 6YO Lauren! We played a couple of group games and had a great bar-b-q!
We also had that person in our family that took all the games too seriously - I divorced him.
We also play Canasta - learned from a computer game! Stephani, Meghan, me, and Steph's friend, Brian, would play all the time before the older 2 went off to colleges... it was like old times at Christmas when they were both back. You know you have good kids when they sit around and play Canasta, Cribbage, and Pretty, Pretty Princess all night every weekend!
I love the shopping pictures popping up everywhere!

I think nebo should do that for his May trip!
