Has anyone flown into Jacksonville for their Disney vacation?

The flights for spring break are pretty high the week we need, especially for Orlando. Jacksonville, FL, isn't quite so bad.

What is this airport like? How long does it take to get to WDW from there? Actually we would be going to the Disney Cruise first but we would be coming from WDW to the airport when we leave.

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
DJ

We drove it last month; it took about 3 hours, using I-4/I-95 on a Saturday late morning/early afternoon.

If you are driving it at any time near weekday rush hour, plan on using the 417 toll bypass, as I-4 can be a parking lot through much of Orlando proper.

Thanks! We were guessing it would be somewhere around 3 hours.

I am still hoping for some good prices on Orlando flights, but this may be an option for us. Of course we may end up just driving the whole way. That really is the cheapest way to do it, but we will see.

Thanks again!
