Jacksonville....Gator Bowl..need ideas..

We are headed to the Gator Bowl...leaving late Monday night & should arrive in the area on Tuesday afternoon.

I'm looking for ideas on touring the area on Wednesday. I'm willing to drive within an hour radius to see the sights. Any suggestions of where to go?? We'll have 3 adults & 3 kids (dd11, ds10 & dn,11). I'm mainly looking for some kid friendly things to do.

St. Augustine is fun. It's within an hour south either via 95 or US1.

Jacksonville zoo is kind of neat.

If you live nowhere near the beach, you can make a stop there.
