What's the deal with Lumierer's? In the documents we got from Disney they said to wear a jacket. I read somewhere else that only Palo's wanted you to wear a jacket. If I'm right, that means you have to wear a jacket 4 nights. Is that right? We have the first seating, so what happens on Saturday. Will we have our clothes in time to dress for dinner?

What usual happens is that the first night is casual in all dining rooms because of the luggage situation. Yes, a jacket is recommended but what my husband did was wear his tux for the formal nights and he wore a polo and slacks the other nights in Lumierer's. Mainly because he forgot to bring another jacket. He was not our of place in his polo and docker style slacks. Kathy

On Jan 19th, we had the LAPLAPL rotation on the Magic, with early dining.

The first evening was listed as 'casual dress' on the front page of the daily Navigator right under the picture of the Magic, and also on the last page under dinner, so no jacket even in Lumiere's.

The last evening was listed as 'jacket recommended' for Lumiere's in the small print on the last page of the Navigator in the dining section. I went with a jacket, but I was definitely in the minority view and a few men wore jeans. We had occasion to walk past Lumiere's during the late seating for dinner and jackets were in the minority there also.

If you count an evening of dinner at Palo's, you'll have an additional occasion to wear a jacket too.
