Jacket for Indoors?

I know this sounds crazy, but I freeze in a cold shop or restaurant and am worried that I'll be miserable inside if I'm dressed for the heat outside (we'll be in WDW the week of June 20). I've bought a light jacket to take, but my husband says I'll be sorry to have to carry it around all day.

Thoughts?

Hi, I am the same as you,miserable if I am in a cold shop or dining establishment. I ALWAYS have a lightweight sweatshirt in my small backpack that I carry. Also, you could just tie it around your waist. My sweatshirt is more like a sweater,very light.We usually visit WDW in July and the stores and restaurants are usually COLD! HAVE FUN! Joan

having been there in the hot and humid summer months, I personally dont think you will need it during the day and you probably wont want to carry it around. Bring it at night if you want to, but I doubt you will need it then either. It gets so hot and stuffy outside (even in the evening) you will welcome the cold ac when you are indoors.

I always freeze in restaurants in the summer too. However, maybe because it's so hot outside, I've never felt chilled while going on any of the Disney rides. The cool air came as a relief instead. I never felt the need for a jacket while eating at Disney either. However, I always take a light jacket with me when we eat elsewhere...and I think I've always used it! It never fails...we are seated under an AC vent! My husband loves it! I've quickly learned to bring a jacket just in case.

I always bring a light sweater since I hate being cold, especially in restaurants.

Down here, it seems like they set the AC low since it is so warm outside. Usually, this means that I am freezing before the drinks are ordered.

I would pack it and take it with you the first day to the parks, then you can determine if you need it. I always hate not packing something, then wishing I had it. As someone else suggested, if you don't need it, you can tie it around your waist.

We do the tie the sweatshirt around the waist thing. I get cold in the Restaurants and so does'nt my daughter.

We're going in Aug and planning on wearing tank tops
I may bring a tshirt in our carry bag for those A/C places
