I'm planning a trip in November of this year. I;m a very cold natured person to begin with. I'm cold in my house if it's below 74 degrees...:crazy2: I know.
So here is the question. What jacket/coat do you suggest for the parks. I have a few nice pea coats and trench coats, but I just don't think they'll work. They're kind of stiff and bulky, not to mention they would look pretty silly with all of my custom designed shirts (thanks Disigners :thumbsup2) and tennis shoes. :rolleyes1
TIA!!!

We're going to WDW for Thanksgiving and we'll all be bringing fleece jackets.

We went the second week of December. It was unusually cold but we wore our fleece jackets in the morning with jeans and a tshirt. Tied them around our waist or scrunched them in a backpack in the day and wore the again at night, Some people were wearing gloves and hats. Ours were Northface jackets, my son had a thinner fleece pullover that he wore. They are very versatile and don't wrinkle. If you get cold easily, they are the perfect jacket.

Temps can really vary. One November we had our winter coats from Pittsburgh as I knew we would need them when we flew home and the kids had those on, PLUS I had to buy them a blanket(thankfully they were in a double stroller and could snuggle). Most Novembers though, we start out in hoodie, shorts... get rid of the hoodie by 11am, then once night falls(by 6pm) you have to have warmer clothing. Maybe layer in the evening??? and again, this will vary, but there are usually at least a couple nights where it is chillier than the rest. This will be our 7th November trip(and probably our last if I can swing taking the kids out of school twice in one school year) Not because of the weather, we just found out we really like a spring vacation after the long ugly winters!

A fleece + a windbreaker should be all you need in terms of jackets. If it is colder you can layer them. Zip-off pants are also a nice option when the weather is changeable.

If I'm going somewhere with changeable weather, my go-to strategy is a set of silk long underwear. It's very thin and light and you can put both pieces in a sandwich baggie if the weather is warm, but if you are cold it will help immensely.
