Jack Sparrow Pirate Show

I have seen a lot of pictures from the pirates show which features a very believable captain jack.........is this show still performing, if so will it be around for Christmas week? I so hope so!!!!

It was still going on last week. The person playing captain Jack is really really good!! We couldn't believe how much he looked and sounded like him.

I heard that some of the Capt Jack's are great. I went on November 1st though and we were very disappointed in the one we saw.

where is the capt jack show? Is it by the pirates ride? Wher exactly is the pirates ride? Would a 5 yo be too small and/or scared by the ride?

If you are looking at the POTC attraction, the show is to the left of it. POTC is in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom. I have always seen many small children on it. There is a skeleton or two and a scene where the pirates are burning the port town. Do not know if that would frighten your child.

It was listed in the new mickey monitor that I received today as "new immersive entertainment" "happening all around you every day". So I have to assume that this show will continue daily through the holidays.

ok, what is a mickey monitor-what am I missing??? I think I need this!
As for youngsters at POTC, we first took our DS when he was almost 2 and every year since! He loves it! He is 5 now and POTC is all he can talk about!

I think I was the tiniest baby when I first started riding POTC. I am now 21 and love it to this day. Can't wait to catch the Capt. Jack Sparrow show on my next trip (will make a great touch for my disney wedding and disney honeymoon!).

The mickey monitor is an upcoming events booklet that passholders receive.

The show runs a few times daily. The times are listed outside of Caseys Corner on the board.

for those who have been on the POTC ride, what kind of ride is it? I thought there was a fairly high level drop at the end of the ride? Or is the ride pretty tame itself, but it's what the kids see which may scare them?

I saw the "good" Jack when I was there last month and given my love of Mr. Depp, I had the thoughts running through my mind of what I would have done had I been 20 years younger. Arghhhhh!!
