Hi not been on boards for a while but am going back to DLP in sept.

DD last Nov when in WDW set her heart on a large over 1m tall nightmare before christmas Jack plush but we just didn't have room to bring it back with us. We have tried looking for it on ebay but can only find the small version.

Has anyone/or if anyone is visiting before we go on 8th sept to DLP see if there is any Jack merchandise there. The item she saw was in the ToT shop in DS park at WDW. I notice that the halloween theming is up on the official website so some merchandise may be arround.

If anyone sees this plush could you let me know and it's price, many thanks.

We will have lots of luggage space this visit as we are flying without children and staying in SQL as my DH's 40 th birthday treat:dance3: . So we can fill the luggage with chirstmas prezzies!!!

Thank you in advance

I'm not sure about the exact plushie you are talking about, but the TOT shop did have quite a bit of Jack Skellington merchandise when we were there in April.... I know I definately bought my friend a shot glass back....

.... I certainly intend to buy something else Nightmare Before Christmas related this time!! :goodvibes

I'm sure as Jack is the main theme for the Halloween season this year that there will def be abit more merchandise for the Nightmere Before Christmas altho like Bob has said there was a few bit of stuff anyway.

thank you for your replies

the plush that DD saw in Florida I can't recall the exact details but it was of Jack and it was almost as tall as her she was 113 cm tall in Nov. She loved the stripey legs. I don't know if she would mind if it was not the exact same one but she has been saving her pocket money over the last few months to contribute towards it.

Oooh that sounds interesting!! Got me excited to look out for more NBC things next time. I would look out for you when i go but you get there the day after me LOL.
Also I'm wondering if they have any special things related to the special edition releases of the dvd later this year.

I'm heading out tomorrow for 5 days. I can't promise, but will try keep my eyes open for you.

The shop in Frontierland opposite BTM had lots of NBC merchandise before Christmas, with Jack expected to be around Phantom Manor at Halloween, this might also be another place to look out for your plush. :goodvibes

Jack is my son's favourite as well! There were lots of merchandise around for him (think we brought most of it back!!) We did bring a plush figure of him back but it was a Christmas one which I'd been meaning to get for ages.

I went to DLRP last Halloween and was bitterley disappointed of the lack of Nightmare Before Christmas merch, maybe I just wasn't looking in the right places.
We went to WDW the year before but didn't have enough space to bring much of it back (there was loads) so I promised my daughter we would get soem at DLRP the next Halloween, this was a bad decision on my part.... :guilty:
If I was looking in the wrong places will someone please point me in the right direction for our January trip so I can make it up to DD :)
Thankyou!

Most of the shops had athe merchandise, I thought most of it was in the Disney Village, shop next to POC, Emporium and TOT shop. They had everything from boxer shorts, shot glasses, hoodies (we brought two of these home!), snow globes, figures, t-shirts, candle holders and flip flops.

Oh that's where I went wrong then, we went in October, TOT didn't open until the january I think, way after we were there.... :cool1:
Thanks guys for letting me know, roll on Jan 2009 so I can go have a look, better start saving a bit harder.... :thumbsup2
