Jack-in-the-Box commercial

It's my turn to be rather appalled. Jack-in-the-Box has commercials for its' Mini Sirloin Burgers, using "little people". They have them rounding up tiny cattle, for the mini sirloin burgers. They even sing in a munchkin-like voices! Looks to be in poor taste to me, like they're making fun of little people.

I agree. I was appalled with the BK breakfast minis commercial featuring the little person farmer. The Jack in the Box one is much worse though.

If the people in the commercial are "little people", then they obviously don't have any issues with it.

But it's like anything else, someone is always going to take offense to something, no matter what it is. People are always looking for something to be offended by.

Well, they are little hamburgers. And they are little people (the preferred term, I believe). And I'd assume they might ride little horses when they ride. And they made some little cows as part of the "little" theme. I guess I'm not sure what's offensive about it. Maybe the voices might offend someone. Maybe.

I hadn't seen it, but found it online. It's funny to me, but not as funny as some of the other Jack commercials. I can't stand their food, but love their commercials.

I find it amusing. Where else would they get such little pieces of beef for those sandwiches? But really, if they (the little people) aren't offended by it, why should the "regularly heightened" folks get up in arms over it on "their behalf?"

I'd like to hear the general community's consensus in regards to the commercial. Not some group or singular person "representing" them as a whole (a la Rev. Jesse Jackson. Surprise! not everyone in your own community agrees with you!).

I love the commercial! ...herding cows the size of schnauzers, but they're cattle...
