Jack and Sally, MNSSHP

I understand it's not what you want to hear, but sadly, it's the truth. They're rare characters that are in super high demand at the party. You wanna see them? This is how it's done. Wait early before the party officially starts or wait during the party... Dunno about you, but I'd burn the "normal park hours" waiting instead of the party hours (which you're paying a premium for).

For the past three years, Jack and Sally have started meet and greets around 6:00 p.m. No guarantee they will come out early again this year, but I would look for reports from the first parties, unless you are going to the first party. We are usually in line by 4:30. We have never been at the front of the line, but haven't been horribly far back either. The line really starts building at 4:45. CMs will check to be sure everyone in line has a party wristband. If they come out early, you can be done seeing them before the party even starts. One year, on a non-sold out party day, we even got done early enough to go get in the 7 Dwarfs line after without a horrible wait.

Or go to Disneyland Anaheim or Paris, the queues I saw when I was there were very reasonable. It helped of course that they were out during the day and not just during the party.

Best is to line-up no later than 4pm so that you don't lose party time. In past years, they are known to start meeting Guests as early as 5pm.

Expect to wait for 2 hours, weather you get there early or wait during the party. There really isn't any way around it. If you line up early and they come out early, then you will be pleasantly surprised but i wouldn't bank on it. We waited for J&S during MNSSHP early (getting in line around 5) and waited for almost 2 hours) and also burned almost 2 MVMCP visiting Sandy Clause on that same trip.

Both times we considered it worth it (Our DS8 is a HUGE Jack fan). The interactions are absolutely second to none. We have never had a better character interaction than those 2.

Last sept we were let into the park around 3:45. My husband and son went to get in line for Jack and Sally and they were around 5-10 families ahead of them. Jack and Sally started meeting at 5 and we were done by 5:20. Definitely worth lining up early and not using party time for them. By the time we left their meet, it was easily 90-120 minute line.

We stopped by about 445 to get in line a couple of years ago and the wait was already going to be 90 minutes AFTER they started meeting, so we passed. So yep, get there early and hang out in line.

In 2016, the meet would start at 5:00 pm, this was not advertised anywhere. I got in line at 4:00pm and I was only about 4 people back. By 5:00 the line was huge, Jack and Sally came out right at 5:00 and we met them and were on our way to enjoy the party by 5:20. This worked great for us. I don't know if they will do this the same but I would line up no later than 4:00pm.

That's the best way to do it!

This could be a bit disappointing, we have a 4:40 BOG ADR and Jack is #1, although we are going for Xmas party this year instead of Halloween, where we missed Jack previously. Also hoping to see Scrooge.

Many good sites and bloggers were showing that Jack and Sally were meeting at 5 in 2016. Disney didn't necessarily advertise it, though.

Characterlocator.com is an awesome site (and worth every penny!!) for anything Disney, but definitely for the parties. Cannot recommend Kenny's site highly enough for anyone doing a party. It helped me out a lot!
