Thanks! I just checked our floral BEO, and the cost is $10 per table to scatter a mixture of seashells. We don't have many tables to decorate, so we thought it was reasonable. The individual large starfish cost $5 each, but we only need a few of them. Hope this helps!

Thanks for checking! The seashells are about the same price we have now for scattering rose petals down the tables too, hmm hopefully I'll be able to find the starfish around here for less but if we only needed a few that would definitely be less hassle!

Had my phone meeting this morning with Laura and now we wait to see the updated Floral BEO!

I'm really looking forward to the changes!
For the ceremony we are using the house chairs, laying palm fronds on the sides of the aisle and scattering shells over the fronds.
We also added the canopy with white draping which I'm excited for!

For the reception she is going to work on a plan for more vases/candles on the roman tables and maybe some really tall vases on the rounds. I asked if we could also have a few vases with just a little bit of water in them on the tables where bridesmaids are sitting since I have 8 girls with bouquets, they don't all need to be on the cake table!

I'm getting more and more excited every day! 106 days to go! My bachelorette is two weeks away already and everyone is playing nice. I've been to two bridal fairs in the last two weeks and we're hitting another this weekend! Since I pretty much have everything done already, we walk through and sign up to win stuff! Haven't won anything yet though1 It's still fun to go!

Thanks so much!! I hope the parasols work out and give some sort of shade too! I really want to make sure my guests realize I planned for them, a lot of the stuff I am doing is more for them than for me, since we're grateful theyre all coming down for us!

Thanks!! The Bridal Fair in Hartford is next weekend - 2/4-5. I'm sad I can't go because we're going to Boston for my bach- oopsy! It does look like its the biggest one around! We went to the Aqua Turf and the Windsor Marriott. We were supposed to go last weekend to one in Simsbury but I had a terrible migraine and had to skip it. There is another one this Sunday at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell right near our house so I might stop by. I feel like I am a bridal fair junkie!!

The Floral BEO post was long enough already so I decided not to add to it!
We also got our room diagram and authorizations for our min. that is due next week- eek!! We are only 101 days away today, it's crazy but also so exciting!!

If you notice, this BEO with the canopy says the canopy is $250 and it's an additional $100 to add the draping. I already wrote Laura back about this and inquired why since CDSleeping Beauty is using the same one and not paying an additional $100 for the drapery. Hopefully I get an answer soon!

I was pretty happy with how quick this update did come over since it usually takes more time!

I also told her I think we're taking out the Revere Bowls completely (Sorry Bethie!!!)... since we're going more beach-y and it will obviously cut costs, I asked for the cylinder vase sets all the way down the long tables, alternating normal height and really tall sets. I also asked instead of the silver bowls to put the flowers in short clear vases at the rounds so they silver bowls don't look like they don't fit.

I think after these next few things, we'll finally be done with floral! I can't believe how fast everything is coming up!!

Our invites are ready for final payment and waiting for my mom to pay them next week, then we'll be able to see our proof and send them for printing- yay! Impressions has been so great and easy to work with, I can't wait to see the final product!!

Awesome!! I am OCD planner so yes I know what we're doing! We're taking a chocolate tour of Southie, having dinner at Capital Grille, staying over at the Hilton Back Bay and grabbing brunch in the morning at Clink. I'm really looking forward to it!!

Wanted to update that I just got a postcard in the mail today-- my wedding dress is in!!!! When I ordered they told me it wouldnt come in until late Feb/ early March. Eek!! It's really making this real!! I ran upstairs to grab the tape measure and make sure my measurements are at least the same as when I ordered it - thankfully, they are ! whew!
