True, it is a much happier story, but I think its just more well written than the others.

his work is not of this world, lol. it is very well written and i love the lord of the rings movies, but i think it is a little too out there for me. i mean i like it, but not as much as something like harry potter, you know?

I have read the hobbit and about 100 pages of fellowship but the librarians at my school are evil so i need to pick up a copy at the store

I did a report on him just last year. He seems very talented. I just didn't want to read The Hobbit or LOTR.
