DS wore his Jets jersey to hockey practice today! Tomorrow he and DH will be wearing Giants shirts and I'll be wearing my Steelers shirt.

What gets me is that they want a new stadium and perks and are threatening to leave every other day, yet they choke every time they get to the playoffs.

Yep. They need to back off that idea and put the money into the school systems and show the community that we can be proud of them no matter how they do.

Even though I don't live in the city, I still feel that the money could be better spent in helping the community than by paying the Colts to stay.

Its kinda like you and me saying to our employers, "If you don't give me a fancy workplace, I can't perform my job description. Adequate and acceptible is not good enough. It's your fault that I can't do what I was hired to do, am qualified to do, and that I am being paid to much to do." Now, how long do you think we would keep our jobs?

Maybe Irsay, the owner of the Colts can back up the moving van like he did in Baltimore tomove to another city that may embrace him....lol

I meant to say is, Irsay the Colts owner after asking for money for a new stadium in Baltimore which he was denied, backed up moving vans to the Colts' complex and in the middle of the night moved the the team to INDY. Now he wants a new stadium again.. maybe he can move them to Outer Mongolia .. i heard they want a expanson team too....lol

I just love how a team can start out 1-4 and look so good in the playoffs! (I know Vinny started the season, etc.) Anyhow, I'm sooo impressed with Chad Pennington on and off the field. Did anyone catch his interview a few weeks ago? He seems very down to earth and grateful--something that is refreshing in the world of professional sports nowadays. I would love to see the Jets in the Superbowl and if they keep playing the way they are I think they have a great chance.

Now let's go Steelers!!!

A couple of additional thoughts.........

1) If the Colts go, I would love to have Peyton Manning stay in Indy. A classy guy and a great role model. Yes, he would be good in the Super Bowl, too!

2) I haven't heard any of the players beg for a new stadium. Just the owners/home office types.
