okay this is what I have thought so far, is this about right.

3 days for Magic Kingdom, (one for the halloween party with dinner at The Liberty Tree Tavern on the night)

2 days for MGM studios

2 days for epcot ( 1 day for each part)

1 day for Animal Kingdom.

2.shopping days

1 day at IOA and US with dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.( I think this will be enough as does not seem much for dd for more than a day)

1 day at seaworld

1 free day to revisit ether seaworld or US/IOA.

Last day to revisit favourite disney park.

During the days we may leave the park for a few hours to go back to the hotel.

Looking good - remember World Showcase in Epcot doesn't open until 11am :

I would struggle to do 2 days at MGM, perhaps you could do just 1 and split your IOA & USF day into 1 day/1 park and tour steadily otherwise you may rush and miss something really great :)

As you have a small child then MK is a 2, possibly a 3 day visit.
MGM only needs a day as does Epcot
I know what you mean about US / IOA with small children - but there are things at both parks for them to see with Barney, ET, Animal Magic, Shrek at US and Dr Suess at IOA.
Personally speaking, I think that small children woukd get far more out of Sea World than Epcot ...

I think you will definatley need only 1 day for MGM, unless you take it really steady, but do take the 2 for Epcot, with a little one, if you stop at all the kidcot stops at World showcase(which I recommend as my daughter loved it) it will take you sometime to get around. There, the little one can make a mask adding something different to it at each stop and do buy the little passport you can get and every country will stamp it and leave a little note, there are also stickers and stamps for each country in the pack that the passport comes in,(if it hasnt changed) We did this for my daughter twice and she still looks back on them now 6 years later with great fondness, and as Tim said World Showcase doesnt open until 11am. :goodvibes

As you said your staying on site, its easy to get the bus back for little rest breaks in the afternoon and pop back to any of the parks later in the evening for the fireworks. 1 Day for Seaworld I think is fine, we managed to do it easy in one day, and as you said you have the extra day for Seaworld or Universal if you find you run out of time at either of them. Looking good, :thumbsup2 I really must get on and sort out some of my planning :goodvibes

Agree with Florida Sun, you should definately need more than a day in Epcot, expecially if you stay for Illuminations :)
There are plenty of activities, shows and rides in Future World to keep you busy for most of a day, and the tour round the World Showcase - stopping at all the KidCot stops and stopping for snacks and refreshments will take the best part of a day (remembering it doesn't open until 11am).
Epcot is a great park if you take the time to appreciate what is has to offer - great rides and shows, educational attractions, interactive attractions, technology, international culteral diversity, great restaurants, great shops and the best firework display in WDW.

Although MGM is do-able in a day, if you want to stay for Fantasmic it will make it a long day.

Even with the best planning in the world, you never know how long the lines will be, or what sort of return times you will get on your Fastpasses. Also, timing when you go into shows, especially in MGM with Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid will also have a big impact on how much you can get to see and do :)

What careful planning will give you is the knowledge to allow you to be flexible and change plans at the last minute :)

Hi, thank you for your thoughts.

I think we will definitely need 3 days for MK, it looks like we could spend the best part of a day in Fantasy land alone, and dd will probably want to go on BTM more than once, and then there is all the characters she will want to meet.

I think I will leave the second day at MGM as a maybe, and leave it open with the option of doing something else.

I was not going to do the water parks, dd will be more than happy with the Hotel Pools.

That seems like alot to fit into 1 holiday!!! I agree that Epcot is a minimum of 2 days, and MK 3. MGM is possible in 1 day but you need to plan what shows to see when to make sure you fit them all in. I would try and make it to the waterparks if possible because they are amazing! Its nice to go there and relax somewhere lovely after a few days in the parks.
