I've Started Packing!

Plans for our May 31st through June 9th, 2007 trip were made on August 15, 2006. 'CHECK'


Package was paid in full (in installments) on April 13, 2007. 'CHECK'

Reservation confirmation package received just about two weeks after the payoff was made. 'CHECK'

Personalized park maps arrived in the mail. 'CHECK'

ADRs are confirmed. 'CHECK'

Everybody's favorite traveling snacks have been bought. 'CHECK'

Oil has been changed in the car. 'CHECK'

Packing and supply lists have been printed. 'CHECK'

Now it's time to start packing!

We are driving and actually leave our West Monroe, La. home on the evening of the 30th and will be arriving at the CBR on the afternoon of the 31st.

My husband gets tickled at how I count down the days. You don't count today and you don't count the day you leave. You just count the days in between. He says you DO count today and you DO count the day you leave. Anybody else have this problem with their husband or wife?

i am leaving on the 31stas well (to the 5th)! i dont count today, so 5!! I would love to start packing, but the lugggage is in the attic. My dad was supposed to get a bag down but he said not until sunday. I think he's just jealous he's not going!

We're leaving the 31st too! We'll be at WL from May 31st-June 7th

I count it as 5 more days too! I'm not packed yet, but the luggage is in our bedroom waiting for me!! I think I'll start packing tonight

I still have 27 days before I leave.....so close and yet so far!! I do however count today and the days up until, but I do not count the day we leave! Have a great trip!

I'm going on the 31st too until June 10, staying the first night at CSR and then switching to POFQ for the rest!! I'm so excited, I'm supposed to be starting my packing right now, but i'm here on disboards instead if I don't get started tonight, then tomorrow morning the packing will be done, i'm determined to not be frantically finishing my packing a few hours before our plane leaves this year

Such a father thing to say... tell him to get those suitcases down, you're excited and 4 days isn't that much Yea!! We leave thursday as well and I'm starting to pack today

Get those suitcases down and start packing! I've been pulling stuff out of closets and drawers for days now. You should see the corner of our bedroom. It's stacked full of stuff!

Ours is a weird situation - DH is working in South Carolina the week before and meeting us in FL. So I get to pack 1/2 our stuff early to send with him. That will help with some of my frantic energy!

Why are the days so long now and so short in WDW???

We will be leaving on the 9th. I am so far behind on my planning. Unexpected family emergency and my own evil illness robbed me of most of my planning time.

And I have the joy of driving 8 hours w/ DS as DH will meet us there after a business trip.

But I am getting very excited!!!!!!!

And DS still doesn't know our final destination.

We leave the 31st (only 1 day 21 hrs and 54 mins)! We just packed (almost evertything) last night. We were up till midnight doing it, but the bulk of everything is packed!

1 day and 19 hours here!!! Leaving bright and early 6am! packing still not done! Gotta run to CVS and buy a few travel size things because of that stupid 3 oz liquids rule!

Only 19 hrs till I head to the airport!! I'm almost all packed. I still have one more load of laundry in the dryer, then I'm done!!
