I've started having those dreams

I have read some stories on these boards that before the wedding some brides start having dreams. Well, I had a call from my bridal salon on Tuesday that my dress is in . I called them yesterday and set up an appointment to go try it on tonight. . Last night I had a dream that I went to try the dress on and they kept giving me the wrong dress and they couldn't find it in the salon.

I can't wait till tonight just to make sure that everything is alright.

I dreamed the other night that DF decided that the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner weren't important and he didn't come. In my dream he couldn't understand why I was so upset.

(PS, I still have 9 months to go and I'm having these dreams. You're doing better than me!!)

Ahh yes those wonderful dreams!

I had a dream that I was getting ready and nobody would help me and I kept saying why can't someone do my hair!!! Please help me with my hair! and then it started raining and I had to wait around but I still wasn't ready so I put my hair up in a ponytail and then I was 4 hours late for the ceremony. It was crazy!

Lol...Ive been having those dreams since we were 18 months out! lol...5 months to go (as of tomorrow!!) and I'm starting to get some relief from them lol. My most common one is that its the morning of the wedding and I forgot to get my dress altered! (Its a size 12, im an 8!) and it keeps falling off of me!!!! AGH! lol Thats the scariest one for me. Another one was that it was January already, the wedding was over, and I didn't even remember it!

Oh I remember the dreams. I actually dreamt that my attendants didn't have dresses. That my dress was a wrinkled mess. That no one was ready. At one point I dreamt that I didn't have a dress and the day of my wedding I was at HUDSONS, at the mall by my parents old house when I was a kid, looking for a dress. I dreamt that I was involved in a hit and run accident the day of my wedding and that I try stashing the body in a cave along the side of the road. I had some whacked out dreams for sure.

Linda - I can't wait for you to lay eyes on your dress and see that everything is okay. Then you'll be able to move on to dreaming about something else.

Haha.. I have had a few different ones that keep haunting me.

In the first one, I forget to bring my veil, then I don't realize it until we are at the wedding pavilion. wierd.. because thats not something that can go without notice!

The second dream is about time. Once I dreamed that I fell asleep and woke up thirty minutes before the wedding was suppose to start, and no one seemed to care. So I started getting dressed and threw everything together, and was crying.

The other one, somehow the wedding pavilion ended up on the boardwalk and I was running to the pavilion about 20 minutes late to my wedding that had already started without the bride!!!

None of them make any sense!

I had one last night actually!! LOL!! We were getting married and Reverend Knox was an hour late and showed up drunk in a baseball cap, t-shirt and jeans. And then Randy Chapman never showed up and my Mom had to take the pictures!! AHHHH!! What a nightmare!!!! LOL!!!! It's just so funny that I actually had dreams with their names mentioned!!

I had my first one two nights ago!

I dreamt that we were trying to exchange our vouchers for APs while standing on top of Everest . When we got there, DF din't have the vouchers (like I would trust him to take care of something like that ). I was in my wedding dress, though, and was yelling at the lady telling her I needed the AP to get married, and didn't she know that all Disney brides got APs!

and directly to my wedding. The dress was a perfect fit. Even the length. As there is alot of detail on the bottom of my dress when I was measured I brought my shoes and she ordered the length I needed.

Now the only problem is I just started NutriSystems and I would love to lose about 15 to 20 pounds before the wedding. If I do this I will probably have to have the dress taken in - which is ok as I really would love to lose some weight.

Oh I had the wedding nightmares...the first one my flowers were messed up the second one was none of my vendors showed up and we had to have the wedding the next day.

From the title of your post, I freaked out for a minute! I thought you were going to say that they royally screwed up and that you were very upset. I'm so happy that's not the case and everything is just perfect. Good luck with the weight loss and I'm sure taking the dress in a little won't be a problem at all!!

Thanks Linda! Everything is peachy. I went to a concert last night and made it in to work really late today (pre-arranged with my boss.) Anyhow, I left my thumb drive with my next portion of update at work Friday. So hopefully I'll be able to get it up tonight or tomorrow morning. It's the welcome dinner @ Ohana, so its a doozy. And I know there's a lot of ladies on the board who could use the detail right now. So I got get on that. Wow! Didn't mean to totallly this thread. Alright everyone, back to your dreams (or nightmares)...

Oh heck! I this what I've got to look forward too? I havent had any yet, and I hope I dont - Im that stressed and tired at the moment that as soon as my head hits the pillow I start snoring, maybe thats a good thing - because wedding nightmares will just give me something else to worry about

I'm too tired right now to remember my wedding-related dreams, but they're basically all sorts of planning or clothing disasters. *sigh* If I manage to remember any particularly funny ones, I'll post hehe.
