Well, I'll give it a quick shot. Those without a comment, we've never tried either.

Artist's Palette (not Artist Point, where we have eaten)
Biergarten-just once and we had a bad experience with the communal seating.
Bistro de Paris (not Chefs de France, where we have eaten)-great
Boatwright's- great breakfast, haven't tried other meals
Cap'n Jack's
Chef Mickey's-not our cup of tea
Concourse Steakhouse-have only tried lunch and it was OK but I have seen some good reviews so we want to try it for dinner
Fresh-excellent breakfast buffet
Garden View Lounge- for tea at the GF? We enjoyed it
Gullivers
Hollywood & Vine-been some years but it will be many more before we go back ;)
Hoop Dee Doo-GREAT!!!!
Kimonos
Maya Grill
Narcoossee's (this one's been on the 'to do' list forever and we probably will make it there this time)- used to be a must do but has become so pricey with a limited menu. We will probably go again trip after next. Beautiful location.
Nine Dragons
1900 Park Fare-good but it's been a while

Olivia's Cafe- good at all three meals
Palio
Portobello Yacht Club- very good but it's been a long time

Yacht Club Galley-very good

You have some of the same never have dones that we have. I should print out your list! :sunny:

Artist's Palatte is more like a CS at SSR. THe food is quite good. The flatbread pizza is really good. THere is one entree special per night that in addition to the sandwiches, chicken fingers, flatbread, etc. THey are in the process of remodelling the Turf Club into a sit down restaurant at SSR.

Chef Mickey's is a noisy, fun character meal. THe food is fairly typical for a buffet, the self serve sundaes are great as are the cookies. THe atmosphere is just plain fun.

Concourse Steak House--the least impressive of the steak places we've eaten at. Of course, as one dis-er pointed out, we each have our own tastes and preferences, and she liked it. It does get the noise from Chef Mickey's.

1900 Park Fare--my favorite of the character buffets. Like everything at the GF, it is just a step up from the other similar places at WDW. GOod food, good character interaction. Real scones on the bread table!

Olivia's--very nice, quiet place at OKW. Good food, good service. Nothing spectacular, just all round good.

Rose and Crown--typical English fare. I liked it, my teen wasn't as thrilled.

Teppanyaki--our local Japanese Steak house is better and less than 1/2 the price. THe chef show was decent, the soft drink refills were very difficult to get. There was no splenda for tea. FUn for once, but I'm not tempted to do it again as there are so many good restaurants at Epcot.

Several of the others we have done many years ago. As things change frequently, I don't feel I should voice opinions on anything more than 2 years ago.

DH and I are fairly young, so crazy shanaganins seem fun.

We liked Chef Mickey's a lot, but there are lots of kids (2005).

I've never really liked German food, but the atmosphere at Beirgarten is awesome. You sit with strangers (share a table) which is the traditional German thing to do. (Off-topic: We learned this in German class so when we went to Germany on an exchange trip and there were no seats at McDonalds we sat with some other people at a table thinking it was normal. They looked at us like we were crazy and left. :rotfl: ) We ate there a bunch of times pre-2002, but most recently in 2005.

I thoroughly enjoyed Concourse steak house, but DH said the steak was better at Le Cellier and didn't think we need to eat there again (2005).

Ohana--Great food, service, and theme. We love everything about the Polynesian (honeymooned there). I can't wait until DD is old enough to do the coconut race. We've only eaten there for dinner (2002, 2004, 2005).

Restaruant Akershus--We ate there when it was a buffet (in 2002.) The servers were great (brought us a honeymoon cake). The food was different (cold fish?) but still good. DH, a very picky eater, even enjoyed it.

Luau--We really enjoyed it in 2002. The food wasn't superb, but I loved the luau. DH got picked to go up on stage and he did! (He's very shy), and of course I didn't bring the camera.

Restaurant Marrakesh
Very nice place to eat, and never really crowded because people I think are scared of what food might be... it's actually very tasty. They have a few dinners that are for two, and its a nice sampling of the different kinds of foods from Morrocco. The hot tea there is also delicious with mint and herbs in it. Plus, the restuarant itself is gorgeous, and they have a belly dancer and singer for entertainment during dinner that is always fun.

We are trying both Bistro de Paris and Ohanas for the first time on our upcoming trip... we'll let you know what we think, although everything I've heard about both seems to be very positive. We originally booked the Spirit of Aloha show, and changed because we didn't read many favorable things about it. My partner wanted to go to Ohanas anyways. Going up in just a few more weeks..we can't wait!

Biergarten
Its eh...I was not impressed. We went there 6 years ago.

Bistro de Paris (not Chefs de France, where we have eaten)
I enjoyed this a lot. My mother however didn't. This was 5 years ago

Chef Mickey's
When I was little, we went here a lot. Very enjoyable. My parents stopped taking me to Character meals once I turned 10 though.

Concourse Steakhouse
I've gotten much better steak at Le Cellier and Yachtsmen

Garden View Lounge
I love the tea here. Its part of the relaxing day I have on my upcoming solo trip.

Hollywood & Vine
Eh, digusting. It made me ill after I hate here.

Hoop Dee Doo
I love this show. Its a good time for you and everyone around you.

Kimonos
Love it.

Maya Grill
Eh, wasn't impressed. Went there once 8 years ago and never went back. It could have changed though since then.

Narcoossee's
Love it :D

1900 Park Fare
Its a wonderful character meal with good food.

'Ohana
I love it here. When I was little I was really picky, they made me a special meal because of it at no extra cost.

Shutters
I eat there when I stay at CBR on the nights I've been too lazy to go anywhere else. Its ok.

Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau
Love it. Wonderful show. Great Food.

Tempura Kiku
Eat here almost ever time I go to Epcot.

Teppanyaki
I've had better in my hometown for much cheaper.

Yachtsman Steakhouse
One of my favorite restuarants. The filet is splendid. The server is top notch.

Boatwrights - B/fast excellent - dinner so - so

Nine Dragons - our local Chinese is much, much better.

Chef Mickeys - great character b/fast - never had dinner.

San Angel Inn - had a great steak here, tables are very close together though.

Sassagoula Floatworks - quite a small foodcourt - better at POR.

Teppanyaki - really enjoyed it there, I`ve never come across a restaurant like this in the UK.

Garden view Lounge - excellent afternoon tea here - far superior to the tea at the Sharrow Bay which is supposed to be one of the best in the UK :sunny:

Biergarten
Cap'n Jack's
Fresh
Garden View Lounge
Gullivers
Hollywood & Vine
Narcoossee's
Olivia's Cafe
Portobello Yacht Club
Tempura Kiku
Teppanyaki
Yacht Club Galley

the san angel inn had very very good food and the environment is very cool i love the temple backround, and biergarten has o.k german food but i really love the shows etc.

I've left out the ones where we have not eaten ..

Hollywood & Vine - one visit .. nothing great .. will not rush back

Hoop Dee Doo - been twice .. food is just ok, but had a great time!

'Ohana - 3 visits .. and will not be back .. food is dry .. not worth the $$

Palio - very good! beautiful restaurant .. grest service

Portobello Yacht Club - only been once, but enjoyed it even though DD9 was sick that night .. we will go back

Rose & Crown - one of our favorites at Epcot. We eat there almost every trip. Great food .. friendly service

San Angel Inn - have eaten there twice ... food ok .. atmosphere very nice .. may go back sometime

Teppanyaki - one visit .. will save my time and money for better Japanese Steakhouses at home

Yacht Club Galley - one visit .. food and service fine .. would go back in a pinch, but there are so many better places

Yachtsman Steakhouse - wonderful! we have eaten there every trip but one since they opened and have loved each meal. The food and the service are both just great! This is the one off your list I would suggest you try first.

Biergarten - exceeded our expectations - which weren't high. Good "stick to your ribs" German food - lots of carbs and sausage and red cabbage.

Narcoossee's - years ago had one of the best meals ever here. Its changed chefs several times since then and I've never been as impressed as with the first time.

Nine Dragons - its been years, but it was not good and overpriced years ago, in no hurry to give it a second chance.

1900 Park Fare - haven't been for dinner, but this used to have the reputation as one of the best character breakfasts for food - we did do the character breakfast years ago and the food was better than anywhere else.

'Ohana - have only done the character breakfast - we like that its family style.

Restaurant Akershus - character breakfast again. Food was not good, but the look on my daughters face made buying a roll over at the land after Soarin' completely worthwhile.

Restaurant Marrakesh - an old favorite. There are better places and we didn't make it last trip, but this is unusual for Disney, uncrowded.

Rose & Crown - my husband was pleasantly surprised and wants to add this to our list next time (I haven't been).

San Angel Inn - another old favorite - we made other arrangements for last trip as well....but will go back. Be aware that the menu tends to be more South and South Central Mexico - quite different from the Tex-Mex and Northern Mexican most people are familiar with.

Tempura Kiku - Sushi and tempura, who can go wrong by deep frying vegetables.

Teppanyaki - our teppan place is better, but MORE expensive. And we seldom make time at home.

Flying Fish isn't on your list, so I'm assuming you've been - its my favorite of the fine dining spots to date.....

Only eaten at Teppanyaki on your list. Again, much better was available in our hometown and I thought it was a waste of time and money.

The ones from your list we went to on our most recent trip in December:

Biergarten: Really fun, lively atmosphere. A great way to try something a bit different. We didn't know what to expect and found the food to be quite good.

Boatwrights: Tried this one for dinner because we were staying at POR - and so glad we did! We like food with a lot of flavour and thought that this was one of the tastiest meals of our trip. We ordered many different things (especially cajun and creole) and shared. Especially enjoyed the bourbon chicken with dirty rice - full of flavor. Didn't try breakfast, but hear it's good too.

Akershus: We did the princess breakfast. Food was standard breakfast fare, with the addition of the delicious but fattening breakfast cheesy potatoes. A lot of money for breakfast, but did it for the characters. (We are a family with 2 young children.)

San Angel: Delicious! We love Mexican food and it was great to try a few different, more authentic Mexican dishes - as opposed to the Tex-Mex stuff we usually have. I especially enjoyed the Mole Chicken and the tortilla soup. The other plus with eating here is that the Mexican Pavillion is just so beautiful inside - very enjoyable and the kids enjoyed watching the boat ride go past.

Teppanyaki: No actual complaints, but nothing really special either. We found the food to be a bit bland (although probably healthier than many of our other meals). Not a lot of choice, especially if you happen to be on the dining plan. The kids did enjoy the novelty. Expensive - we probably would not have done it if not on the dining plan.

Here's my take on some of the restaurants you havent eaten at -

Artist's Palette - We have eaten here a few times. The food was good, service was quick and we liked the idea of the food court/gift shop all in one. :)

Cap'n Jack's - We will NEVER eat here again. My husband and I both cringe when we walk past this place. The food was horrid. We were seated next to the galley kitchen where we watched them prepare food without gloves. Generally, no gloves in a nicer place is not an issue, however, they were touching their faces, door handles, etc, moving from food to food. It just wasnt right.

Hoop Dee Doo/Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau - We ate at both of these on our honeymoon. I think we are not dinner show people. We like to eat and move on quickly. But I think if you like to linger and enjoy - this would be perfect. Many people enjoy these shows. When we have kids, we will give them another try. :dance3:

Narcoossee's - WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL. We loved it. Husband had scallops for app. and turf and surf for entree. I had a fabulous piece of salmon. PUT THIS ON YOUR NEXT DINING LIST. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Olivia's Cafe - Pretty good food. They were busy when were there, which resulted in some confusion with our order. However, the food was good, served in large portions. The atmosphere was fun. We will eat here again. ;)

Rose & Crown - Well, I dont know what to say about Rose and Crown. They were a big dissappointment to us. Service was rude, we waited an hour over our ADR time to be seated, food was ho-hum. Now, we went during Easter/Spring Break for our honeymoon in 2003. A lot of people enjoy this restaurant, so maybe it was a bad night. :confused3

San Angel Inn - We didnt find this food to be on par with the Mexican restaurants in our town. We like authentic Mexican food, but were turned off by our entrees. That being said, my husband enjoyed his Sope appetizer and I loved my margerita :drinking1 .

Sassagoula Floatworks - As I recall, we thought the food was decent. If we found ourselves staying at FQ we would eat here. :goodvibes

Teppanyaki - My husband brags because we had no reservations, and he said lets eat at Teppanyaki. It was great. He loves to be right. We will go back for sure. The chef was entertaining and the food was excellent. :teeth:

Yachtsman Steakhouse - Very good food. Service was attentive, atmosphere was lovely. My husband loved the Jack Daniels Mousse Cake. We loved it.

We are not doing any repeat restaurants until we have eaten at all of them. So we have 72 more to eat at. Yikes!

Nine Dragons~ The food was fairly good and my finicky daughter actually ate some

1900 Park Fare~ This is our first morning breakfast every time we go...the breakfast buffet is very tasty and the characters are incredibly friendly

Teppanyaki~ This is one of our favorites...the food is always delicious (almost as good as my Japanese grandmother's) and we love to watch the chefs...even if they almost all have the same jokes

We are going to Cap'n Jack's and Yachtsman in August (have ADRs) and plan on going to Yacht Club Galley if it works out. We really enjoyed 'Ohana, and all in our family of 5 want to go back this time, so we have ADRs for there as well. We also have res. for Chefs de France, and I wonder if you can give me a brief review of your opinion. Also, we absolutely LOVE San Angel Inn. It is the ONE place we must eat on EVERY trip. Everyone in my family feels this way. The food is good (not the best, but good), but the ambience is what makes it so special. I know my family would not allow a Dis trip to end without one trip to San Angel.

Artist's Palette- never tried but if I was at SSR I might give it a go
Biergarten- 1992, didn't like communal seating, would nto be worth it with my kids right now
Bistro de Paris I've never tried this or "Chef's"
Boatwright's- enjoyed several great breakfasts here
Cap'n Jack's--tried it for the first time in December, really liked it and loved the kids menu as well

Concourse Steakhouse-Have never been but have ADR for JUly
Fresh-have never tried
Garden View Lounge- have never tired
Gullivers--have never tried
Hollywood & Vine-Of all the buffets I dislike this one, I've never had hot hot food here and found the CM's here to be surly
Hoop Dee Doo-A family favorite, we'd go every trip if it were not so very expensive
Kimonos--never been
Maya Grill--never been
Narcoossee's never tried, always a contender never makes the cut!
Nine Dragons-- the reviews are so iffy, never tried
1900 Park Fare-a favorite, we have done this every trip!

Palio never been
Portobello Yacht Club- never been

Sand Trap Bar and Grill- never been
Sassagoula Floatworks--good mufaletta we usually only eat here if we are staying at POFQ
Shutters-never been
Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau-Did the old version in 1996. DH and I really enjoyed it, may consider taking the kids when we feel they would make it wroth the adult fare.
Tempura Kiku-never been
Teppanyaki-never been
Wolfgang Puck's Upstairs Dining Room never been
Yacht Club Galley- good when staying at YC/BC/ or BCV
Yachtsman Steakhouse-never been

There are too many places I've ever tried to even attempt to list them!

Thanks for taking the time to post, guys - I've really enjoyed reading all your reviews. Most of these restaurants (most, not all) are here for a reason - we've never really fancied them. A couple have been on the "to do" list for some time, but they never really seem to fit in with our plans. So much food, so little time! :teeth:

We just started doing this recently and found we love the Restaurant Marrakesh and the Portabello Yact Club has great seafood pasta. Another thing we just gave a try was the dim sum at china for luch, cheap and very good food. I love trying new places. I was very disappointed with the California Grill and probably wont ever go back again for the price it just wasnt worth it to me. Oh yeah the steak at flying fish was the best steak I have ever eaten.
