I've never done this, but I sure do need your help

Just a thought - Has he tried going through a temp agency that specializes in computers? (Are their any out there?) That may help bridge the gap until something permanent comes through.

Jillpie, you've both got my prayers and best wishes. It's such a hard time for so many folks. I hope something opens up quickly.

When my DH's internet company folded several years ago, it took a long time for him to get another job: he had too much education (MBA), his salary requirements were too high, he, was over qualified.....It was incredibly stressful and DD was less than a year old. It finally worked out, but the time between jobs is tough for all, and I think its particularly hard for men because they feel they're supposed to be the breadwinners and suddenly they're not. Hang in there and try to keep hugging each other and sharing your love and support of each other. It really does help.
