I cant even explain how angry I am right now...Ok, I admit I could have avoided this back in May..The mistake on my part was I NEVER ACTUALLY CHECKED MY MNSSHP TICKETS WHEN I RECEIVED THEM IN THE MAIL!

This is what im dealing with now. Originally back in May I purchased 3 adult tickets by phone for October 28th. I WROTE IT DOWN on my calandar at work OCTOBER 28TH @ WDW MNSSHP along with my confirmation#...I received the tickets, NEVER thought about peeeling them off the back of the paper they are stuck too until now. Well, just over the weekend I called in and ordered 1 additional adult ticket for my brother who will be joining us in October.

I just noticed because I just decide to peek at the back of one of my original tickets and low and behold it says for OCTOBER 24th!!!! NOT the 28th!!! So now I have 3 tickets for oct 24th and I should be getting the 4th ticket in the mail probably for the 28th...I called WDW and they say to me..."Well you should always check and verify and confirm everything is correct" bla bla bla Ok so I messed up..And I have to call the WDW ticket department tomorrow when they are open and see what they can do for me...The guy on the phone said "Well ya know, they are NON REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE..

I know Im jumping to conclusions, but what if they cant help me? This is the 2nd bad situation ive run into with WDW tyring to plan this trip in the last 6 months...Its all about miscomunication on someone's part..Im just very upset right now...Sorry this was so long...

If the ticket office give you the same answer you should be in good shape. Just reply you don't want a refund and you don't want to transfer them to someone else you just want to exchange them for a different date.

Yes you should have checked so grovel and beg. Tell them you think the CM punched the wrong date in the computer but even if it was your mistake you could they please help. Tell them they have more than enough time to resell the tickets. If you get resistance offer to pay a reasonable fee to have the ticketes exchanged. Mention even the airlines allow for changes on tickets that are non changeable.

You made me feel a little better now thanks :D I will follow what you say to do..I would hope a company like this would be willing to help. Thanks again. Ill call first thing in the AM.

We had a change of plans last year and were able to return our tix and have them reissued for a later date.
 
Ditto us...we had a change of plans 2 years ago and I thought the tickets would be wasted....just to make sure I called and they told me they would exchange them for any night that was still available. I mailed the tickets back and they reissued new ones....no problem. It will all work out for you I bet.
 
I can understand your concern, but don't worry. I purchased mine for one date and decided on another the next day. They had computer glitches that day and sent out the tix for the original date anyway. I just had to return them and was quickly issued tix for the preferred date. No problem. Everyone was very accomodating. Good luck!
 
We also recieved the tickets for the wrong date...ordered them for Oct. 1 and received Oct. 3 (we are flying out that day, so don't know how that happened). I called the ticketing dept.(407-566-4985) and they told me to write a letter requesting the correct date and mail back the wrong ones. I did this (made copies of tickets first) and got the correct ones back no problem. I would give them a call!
 
micknpluto...that is too bad but I think they will exchange them for you...just make sure you do it ASAP.

I too changed my dates a couple of years ago and it was no problem at all. I actually changed them from 2 days away from when I asked to the same night I was asking....because I knew it was going to pour rain for the night I had purchased them for. The CM I dealt with at the resort was wonderful and had it done within a few minutes. The only problem would be if they were sold out for the night you wanted to go. For MNSSHP that usually only happens the 31st so I think you'll be fine. :D

I just did this. I ordered mine for Nov 5 and when I got them I realized that is the day we are leaving.

I called and said I had a change in my vacation plans and will not be there on that day. I did not go into details. They told me to send them back with the dates I would like. No problems at all.

I was not asking for a refund or transfer them to another person just another day.
 
I had the same thing. Ordered two for October 28th and received two for the 29th. When I called they told me I had to send them back and they would replace them with the correct date. I wasn't real happy with that since sending them back was like $7 to get delivery confirmation. I did get the correct day back though.
