I've narrowed it down to 3- anyone want to vote?

I've narrowed my search down to 3 resorts. I had a long discussion w/ an RCI guide(?) this afternoon and then with a supervisor and have decided to just book something for next April. So my options are:

HGVC on I-Drive
2 BR

Grand Beach I
3 BR

Orange Lake East Village (nothing available in the N village)
2BR

Any opinions? I had considered Bonnet Creek but I guess they're not booking past Dec?

would go with HGVC unless you need the 3-bedroom.

HGVC are Hilton's and are in excellent shape. You will be entertained without leaving the resort - if you want.

think Grand beach has gone thru 3 management companies? It is very nice - but not alot to do. it has some nice views of a very nice lake. It is about 2 miles closer to WDW than HGVC is.

Orange Lake is fine - if you like to drive to the pool. THIS IS A BIG resort.

not seeing any Bonnett creek or HGVC @ SW pass Dec yet.

Thanks Spiceycat! I booked HGVC The girls originally wanted to go to Orange Lake but I reminded them that we had to drive to all of the pools last time. I showed them pictures of HGVC and they loved it.

We're actually considering a budget trip this summer (driving) so I'm looking at availability in July. I think if we do go we'll end up at Vacation Villages which isn't too bad. We went there last year.

My thoughts exactly. Most of the rooms in the Grand Beach units are pretty compact, but it would be my choice if you need the double master suites. Otherwise, go with HGVC.

when you get there ask for an activties list -there was one on the TV channel - which is not great for marking off what you want to do.

if like HGVC @ SW - this list is long and includes something that have a fee.

but still enough to kept your family busy even without the parks.
