I've just booked flights!

Booked flights for this Aug when we were supposed to be staying at home -and it's only 10 weeks away!! -30thJuly to 17thAug -thanks to someone (Lisa I think) on this board for giving me heads up on continental flight from Edi via Newark for £327.

Nothing else booked yet so feeling quite frantic.

Can someone confirm that if I book disney package with 14 day ticket I can't use tickets till I check in there but they will still be valid after I check out. will probably stay 7days at WDW?

Great news. I posted thread this morning about cheap continental flights from London in August but never looked from EDI.

You are correct, you have to checkin to Disney resort 1st to get your tickets(on your KTTW card) then you can use them after you check out until they expire.

For Disney resort you are probably best booking with Disney.co.uk for free DDP but if you looking for somewhere offsite post best price you find I will look see if its cheaper anywhere else.

It's going to take a bit of juggling! Will do at least 7 days at WDW for free dining (earliest start 2nd Aug) -if I could only decide which resort- and some time at RPR -did split stays there last year to maximise FOTL which we love. Rest I'm not sure -still not brave enough to drive out there which does complicate things!! Luckily we loved hotel hopping last year.

Best value resorts are SSR and OKW, just looked for 2nd August for a week and they are cheaper than Moderates but you get the better Dining plan.
We went for OKW.
Driving is so easy out there. I don't like driving at home one bit, I get wound up so much with UK driving out over there I love it.
