bunnyfoo I have one of those anti shockers. I get the shock worse because no matter how I try my hand always seems to touch the metal chain that attaches it to my keycain and the shock runs into it and it hurts worse than a regular shock.
My boys used to love to shut the lights off in the livig room and watch me turn them on because they could see the spark from the lightswitch to my hand in the dark. It hurt like H$)) but it kept them entertained.
What about pushing those carts in grocery stores? I get shocks when I try and get something off the shelves because the static builds up from those rubber tires. Some grocery stores have gotten complaits and they are putting wires on the wheels to stop the shocks but I never seem to find those carts.
I joined a work out club a few years ago that took the money each month directly out of my checking account. They are well known around the area that if you sign up for a year they take the money out no matter what, no excuses, even death, your family has to pay the full year.
I used the stair climber, the orbit machine and the treadmill and with all three I woud walk a little and build up a charge. Then if I touched the handle I would blow out the machine. The manager didn't believe me so she went with me and watched me blow out every machine. They had to do alot to reset each machine when it blew out and were not too happy with me. My Dr said try leather gloves which didn't work, the manager said drink more water, which didn't work. So they let me out of my contract. They even gave me back the money for my first month. I guess they would rather get rid of me than re-set every machine I used.
I use static guard, fabric softener and dryer sheets on all my clothes and use static guard on my hairbrush every day but nothing helps. Peggie
