But one that Jack has been wanting to visit for years, and was the inspiration for the three above, Schloss Neuschwanstein!

Booking the flights this weekend. I love Germany, and can't wait!!!!!

Aww wow, that looks amazing! Best way to get over post holiday blues is to book another one I always think! (mind you I don't think you could beat the trip/wedding you've just had!! ) Never been to Germany, what's it like?

Our thoughts exactly, plus we did SO much Disney and there is so much new stuff in the pipeline that we're going to wait for the new WDW Fantasyland and DLRP celebrations and sadly we can't afford a DLR/TDL/HKDL trip for a while.

Germany is just wonderful, beautiful scenery, the people are SO kind and friendly and everything is so clean and on time.

I'm a nervous traveller to places I don't know, but Germany is just so easy and pleasant - I love it.

Germany is just wonderful, beautiful scenery, the people are SO kind and friendly and everything is so clean and on time.

Sounds amazing, i'll be eagerly awaiting your TR! We were planning to go to Germany in September but since i'll be 6 months pregnant at that point and our main aim was to visit Europa Park we're putting the trip on hold for a bit

We just got back frpm Munich and had a fantastic time, we had a couple of days in Munich and did a castle tour visting both Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. The castles are both very OTT - King Ludwig had an "interesting" taste!!

We booked through Grayline -would thoroughly recommend them, and seemed much easier than getting the train etc from Munich.

If your going to stay in Munich I would not recommend staying around the main train station - its not the nicest area, but where most hotels seem to be. We stayed here http://www.motel-one.com/uk/motel-one-search/munich/hotel-muenchen-sendl-tor.html- really nice area and the hotel was lovely and well priced for such a nice, central area.
