I've decided not to stress out about WoC!!!!

For a moment there my free spirit personality was getting overwhelmed with all the info about it.

On top of that, I play a video of it from youtube and the boys thought it was "ok".

So, I have decided to book picnic lunches in order to get the fp's and go with the flow.

I hate going to DL and be stress out about something. It's so not worth it.

Good luck!! I'm kinda feeling the same way about our trip in November. I'll get the picnic's and try for passes one morning but Im not going to stress if we don't see it. There is just so much more magical stuff to do!!!

I just returned home today from our Disneyland trip, and we had one goal, catch World of Color. We did the picnic lunches and they were really prettyfilling and tasty. We saw WOC Sat night for the first time and it was incredible in person. I have been avoiding any videos or youtube clips on purpose so I could see it live for the first time. So many things happen all around you that videos will just not do justice. We saw it again on Sunday night and I noticed so many things I had missed. The picnic on Sat was a good idea to get the passes, and we got fast passes from the distribution points the next day without any problems, about a 15 min wait and last show of the evening. I was very impressed, and I put it right next to my favorite Disney parks show ever, "IllumiNations" at Epcot.

I wouldn't stress about it either. I dont think youtube videos of it will do it justice though. All of the pictures I took don't show it for how great it actually is and how impressive it is in person.

I did the dining package at WCT and it was great. Not a cheap meal but since it was 4 adults it wasn't too bad at all (can get pricey fast with kids though). We saw in last Monday (The 2nd) and the premium viewing area was so open. We were able to sit on the steps and wait for the show to start and by the time it did start, there were maybe 100 people in the viewing area. Everyone else kept trying to get under the ropes to our section but the CMs stopped them. It was really nice not to be packed in and claustrophobic for the whole show.

I'm with you! I've ordered the picnics and am MAYBE planning to get us into line a bit early, but we definitely won't be at the front of the line. It's just me and DD10 who's much too big for me to hold up at this point. If we get a spot where we can both see perfectly, great. If we don't, we'll just each see what we can and deal with it. I'd rather have a fun relaxed time with a bad view, than being stressed out about getting in line early followed by bored for hours waiting just for a good view...

the videos on you tube don't give you the full effect of the show. it is awesome. if you are going to be going back to DL, I wouldn't stress about seeing it. If this is a one time only trip to DL, I would make plans to see it.

I would not stress out over WoC, but i would make it a MUST do, it is pretty much the most Amazing thing to see live!

Don't stress. The picnic option is a good one. Just be sure to line up by 7 and you should be just fine.
