I don't plan anything about our trips to Disney, since we are local, and well, I just really don't have too - unless it's for an ADR (I called yesterday, and the CM was amazed that I was planning ahead to May when I called for an ADR at Flying Fish when a friend is in town, I want to make sure we had ressies....)
That being said, my sister (who visits Disney every year with another adult - no kids), and my great nephew (6) are arriving on April 8th - April 16th (UGH - I don't know what she was thinking....)
anyway, I decided to "plan" a couple of things, so I know what kind of ticket to get for him, and if I want to make ADRs - already have CM for Sunday morning - his first full day here - that's been planned for MONTHS!
DD9 will be in school that week, so I also have to plan around school schedule (and taking her out for one day..... ), so I realized that logistically, I didn't think we could just WING this adventure.
I now have a day by day, itinerary set up -
I've got the bug!
Of course it is subject to change due to mood, or act of nature....
Arrival - Saturday - 9am MCO
Come back to my house (airport 20 mins away)
MK sometime early to late afternoon- hopefully he will make it for Spectro or Wishes or both
Sunday -
CM - 11am
Later - either MGM and/or EPCOT(he must see the Power Rangers)
Monday - a park after DD gets out of school - 4ish arrival.... I'm thinking EPCOT
Tuesday - At home day - swimming in the pool, relaxing while DD in school, evening movie or other adventure
Wednesday - Sea World after DD gets out of school - 3ish arrival early dismissal day - only 25 min to Sea World....
Thursday
Animal Kingdom - EARLY - this will be difficult for sister - Take DD out of school (shhh - don't tell)
Late lunch at Rainforest
Friday evening/Saturday - Magic Kingdom and Sea World.... up for discussion - depends on how much more time we need at each to finish up!
Sunday - At home - Easter egg hunt and swimming in the pool until early evening departure!
That's it - I now feel like an official DISboard planner - while not as involved as some, this is pretty detailed for me... who likes to do things on a WHIM!
