Sorry to hear about this! Job loss is never easy, especially not with someone sick. Prayers and pixie dust that something heads your way quickly! Just a question, but have you thought about applying to Home Depot directly? I've heard of lots of reps for companies applying to the companies they work with for new jobs and having it work out.

Dear Matt and Laurie,

My thoughts are with you. We have been though this situation before when my husband broke his back and went from working three jobs to working none.

But things work out well for him.

Now we are facing another uncertain future as he works for Allfirst Bank in Maryland, and if anyone knows that story, he might be looking for a job real soon too.

We learned to take it day by day and it all worked out.

So sorry to hear about your job. We went through the same thing last year and it wasn't easy. But you know what? Everything worked out for the best, the new job ended up to be much better than the previous one better boss, co-workers, etc. etc.
So you see....it will be all for the best. Just keep your faith and prayers.... We'll be doing the same for you here.....
