I've been boo'd!!!

My doorbell rang tonight and my DS15 opened the door and there was a package on my doorstep all wrapped up for halloween. It had a cute little note and said I have to boo two people by tomorrow night. It contained homemade cookies, some chocolate and some halloween stickers.

This is so cute. I've never been boo'd (sp) before.

That is fun. Boo's were really popular in our town a couple years ago and that was fun. We did some then and a few last year. I haven't seen any yet this year though.

When you Boo someone...do you have to leave something on their doorstep or can it be mailed? Can it be left on someone's desk at work?

That happened to us last year and the year before. I had so much fun putting together little packages and sneaking around at night "booing" my friends and family. Everyone kept their participation top secret until after Halloween. I had no idea it was my shy sister-in-law who got me!!

Usually you run up and ring the doorbell and run. When they open the door they find the "surprise". So I don't know how the mail thing would work. I guess it could be done at work if someones' door was closed and you knocked on it and ran?!

This letter was inside the goodie bag along with a picture of the Phantom Ghost:

The Phantom Ghost has come to town
To leave the goodies you have found
If you don't wish the curse to fall
You must continue this "Phantom call"

1st...Post the Phantom where it can be seen
And leave it there "Till Halloween"
This will scare other phantoms away
Be sure to participate...Don't delay!

2nd...Make (2) treat bags
(2) Phantoms and
(2) notes like this

Deliver them to (2) neighbors who have been missed.
Don't let them see you be sneaky no doubt
And make sure they have put their phantom ghost out!

Next you have only one day to act so be quick! Leave it at the doors where the phantom hasn't hit. Deliver at dark when there is no light, ring the doorbell and run, stay out of sight!!

Last but not least enjoy the season. Don't worry be happy for all the right reasons. Be cool have fun and remember, don't be seen. Share the spirit of Halloween!!

Just wondering.. what if I dont really have any neighbors that decorate or celebrate for Halloween.. Do you think they would be annoyed?? Should I look for someone who decorates?
