Since Feb. 23, I have lost 25 big ones. (Walking and WW) During the past month, I've had lots of things going on: graduation, wedding, trip to WDW, etc. These have all been over a weekend, but every Monday, I have gone right back on track. I have maintained my loss, but have not lost anymore. I confess--I have started "picking" at snack items and have not really cared too much if I went over a point or two each day. I know I'm sliding backwards into my old habits. I have to stop this behavior!! I have 30 more pounds to go!!

Yell at me!! PLEASE!!:guilty:

I'm not going to yell at you. That never does any good - at least not for me. I'm just going to ask you to take a look at what you really want from your weight loss program. Only you can make the decision as to whether or not the "cheats" are worth stalling out your weight loss. If you really want to, you can get back on track! I know you can do it! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

The first thing I thought of when I read your post is that it's great that you were able to at least maintain your loss, even if you haven't lost more.

Now that you've realized that, I think you just need to keep your eye on the goal and get back on track. I was in a similar position, lots of parties and events going on and I finally looked at myself in the mirror and decided that I am not going to stop until I at least reach my initial 50 pound goal, at which time I will determine if I need to lose more.

You can do this!!!

No yelling here, either. I think it's terrific that with so many big occasions and so many chances to seriously sabotage your progress, you've managed to maintain your weight. Go, MdmMim!!

It's terribly hard to stay focused on your weight loss program when you're coping with outside stress, whether bad or good. How about you do something nice for yourself, like treat yourself to a manicure or a massage, as a sign that the stress time is over and it's time to get moving again?

It's o.k. Sometimes you realize that things happen, and then you pick yourself back up and start again.

Here's a cheer for you, you can do it!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Six words for you:

If you bite it, write it!

Just start your journaling, and whether or not you count points for it - if it goes in your mouth, you write it down!!!!

You really can get back on track, you need to find it in yourself to do it though.

Do you go to the Weight Watchers meetings? If not, go to them. They help. LOTS of support there.

Read some WISH journals or some Success articles in Shape or Fitness magazine for inspiration. It always inspires me to see others reach their goal. Are you doing a WISH journal? If so, start writing your foods in it every day...it will help! Sometimes you need a little break and you think that it's ok as long as you maintain, but eventually all that snacking will catch up with you and the scale will show it!( I've had this happen to me several times...I think my exercise kept the weight off for awhile, but not forever.)

Congrats on your loss and best wishes for continued success!
