Itunes Question - Renting Movies

Hopefully somebody can answer this question. If I rent a movie in Itunes will all Ipods in my house that are connected to the main library be able to access it or do I need to rent it twice if both me and DD want to watch it?

I'm pretty sure you have to rent it twice to put it on two different ipods because I just rented one for the first time today and as soon as I put it on my ipod it disappeared off "rented movies" in itunes.
