Itunes question about library

I update and add songs to 3 different Ipods (my 2 kids and their friend).....and is there a way two seperate into 3 different libraries from the existing library. You know what I mean??....cause when you plug in the Ipods it takes from the main library....I hope I am explaining this right.......

Thanks...and if anyone knows.....I kinda need the instructions in simple english...

If you have a Mac, there's a program called iTunes Library Manager and you can use it to make more than one library, but it only works for Macs so I'm not sure if it's right for you. Hope that helps.

Here's an article on how to do it with two. The same steps should help you do it with three. (I'm assuming you're using Windows XP since you didn't specify.)

Oops sorry, I always forget about putting my OS when posting computer questions...yes I have XP......

I will try that.....but now running into more problems with DD's Ipod.....it is all weird lines and can't get the screen up....tried resetting it etc....it worked before but now it isn't. I think I may have to bring it in to an Apple store......they just got them for Christmas in 2005

No problem I just thought I'd reply just in case you were a Mac user.

It sounds like you need to take it into a store. Have you tried rebooting it by holding the middle circle button and the MENU button at the same time for about 8 seconds? Sometimes I have to do that to wake it up.

You can try to reload the iPod using the iPod updater:
