Tried to schedule fastpass + for It's tough to be a bug (30 days out today)...they are all gone already! If we are there at rope drop and head straight for the show, will we get in quickly?

Also 7DMT fast passes are gone for everyday of our visit. how long of a wait will we have if we go straight there at rope drop as well? Or if we are 100% needing to do this ride, should we skip it and try to get to other ones at rope drop to avoid long lines?

I can only to speak to my experience with the train....we did it at RD twice in mid June. We waited 30-40 mins. Not bad at all! I think from reading other threads that is about the average. Don't let the "posted" times scare you off. The posted time said 90 mins where we got in line and we waited half of that! The queue is very interactive and moves quickly :)

It's tough to be a bug will be be no problem and I'm not sure why you couldn't get a Fp. I was there July 4 and the waits were just through the next show all day. I would not hurry there at rope drop

It's Tough to Be a Bug is currently closed for refurbishment through 8/11. My guess is they either extended the refurbishment period or there is a system glitch that hasn't "reopened" FP+ bookings for dates around this time. There's no way it's entirely booked up. The show doesn't need to be a rope drop priority either.

You shouldn't need to worry about FP+ for It's Tough to be a Bug, and as PP mentioned, it's not a Rope Drop priority. The shows are almost never full and that show is TERRIFYING. I saw it when I was 9 and cried. I will never, ever, ever, see it again. Ever.

I would not use your FP on tough. You can get in with a minimal wait if any. We did mine train walk on our last day and only had a 15 minute wait. You need to get to through the security and gate at least 30 minutes before park opening so you are towards the front of the pack when the park opens. Don't try to go around the castle as they were a couple of minutes later than those of us that went through tomorrow land up between teacups and pooh.

Don't give up an a 7DMT pass - keep trying every day. We were able to get one on a week's notice. Cancellations do happen!

Only comments about 7DMT here...

take the last spoke form the hub to the right of the castle at RD, go left in front of the teacups, then you'll be at the entrance. The line was wrapped around the fence when we got there and we only waited about 40 minutes. We even asked for the back of the train (reportedly the best seats).

The back of the train on seven dwarfs are definitely the best seats. If you can't get a FP, then head straight there at rope drop, or ride it later in the night. It's a lot more fun at night.

And it's nice to have a FP for it, but it's not a deal breaker. I've ridden it quite a few times now and have gone on more times without a FP than I have with a FP. Generally the wait time has shown around 45-60 min when we get in for standby. Seems like forever, but the line moves pretty quickly. That and there's plenty of high powered fans around to keep blowing on you outside, roofs for shade along the building, then nice A/C when you get in, it's an easy line to wait in. I could careless about the game they have as I see it as just screens crawling with germs lol and it holds the line up most of the time.

So unless it's an outrageously long line when you go by it, I wouldn't worry too much about not having a FP for it. It's not like TSMM where you either have to have a FP or be crazy to wait.
