It's too hot!!

Hi all,
Nyc its 100 degrees with the heat index around 115-120.I have to go to work in a hour,in this heat.Last heat wavw we had 2 weeks ago,we lost 3 guys from my fire house alone due to heat stroke after a big job/run.Hopefully it will be quiet tonight,but with this heat its always very busy.Its too hot to be wearing all the gear.Anyone have a pool i could take a dip in??

My DS23 is in NY right now, and of course, even as he is an adult, I worry about him.

Hello Brother Firefighter. I live about an hour from WDW. And its been about 102'F with the heat index where I live, and I get a sea breeze. I know it will be much hotter in the park especially with all the concrete around

My soon to be FIL is a firefighter and is working tomorrow in the heat (we are just north of Boston and the heat is supposed to be even worse than today here tomorrow). And he said the same thing- that heat waves always seem to be busy.
