It's Time..

I really wish I had the opportunity to experience that attraction!

It was pretty intense. I was doing a one-day, got in free with a CM friend, hit practically every park with a few other friends as we were out for a wedding. That was one of the few rides we managed to hit which I somewhat regretted at the time but now I think I got the better part of the deal. (Also got to ride the now gone skycabs but not the 20,000 leagues subs :( )

I don't hate it like a lot of people, but I do feel the space could be put to better use. I would like to see it redeveloped. I do actually really love the pre-show for it though, and would miss that part (and the Galactic Anthem).

I rode this ride the first and last time I ever went to Disney. I guess because I love Stitch, I didn't think it was that bad, but, it was cute. Nothing to gawk over and fight your way to the front of the line, though.

I also don't know why people think that Stitch is losing out in popularity? He's very popular. He may not be Anna and Elsa popular, but, I don't see him being like Tiana, who isn't as popular (then again, I'm biased, so).

Like I said in another thread, it seems this would be a perfect choice to go with a Guardians of the Galaxy overlay, or even a completely new GoG attraction.

I've never been on this ride due to all the horror stories about the smell...is it worse than Country Bear??

We never plan on riding it. If we're walking by, it's hot, and no one is in line (frequently), we'll go in.

I think they should do something there too.

I remember when they changed it over to Alien Encounter. The previous Mars theme was WAY outdated at that point. I think it's time Disney. :yo-yo:

My daughter kept asking "when is the ride going to start spinning". She was not impressed!!

I miss Alien Encounter. Granted I cried the first time I went on it when I went in 2nd grade but then I lloooooveeeed it.

I don't think Stitch's Great Escape is supposed to be scary though.
No but the whole setup and design was for a scary attraction. Putting a cuddly character into this scary setup is a bad fit. If they want to use Stitch in an attraction, a better fit is very possible.

Definitely agree about that, I do wonder sometimes if they put Alien Encounter in DHS instead of MK, if it would still be around.

I only like it for nostalgia reasons because my son has loved it since he was five, but honestly it needs to go. Every time I agree to ride it (which is every trip :scared1:) I find myself thinking... why?!!WHY???!!!!!!

I remember freaking out the first time I rode Stitch. The shoulder harness did not lower on my seat and, since I had absolutely no idea what the ride was, I was afraid I was going to go flying out of my seat when the ride started spinning.
