Its Time, Hockey Fans!!!

Ya pretty much Nagle and I see all those banners from the last well hmmm not one in the last 37 years not alot of parades going on in TO for the hockey team unless they have a parade for making it to the playoffs and getting past the first round hehehe.

There sure were a bunch of exciting games. I hope the week's rest won't hurt my Sharks.

Bring on Colorado!

Nagle and DSNY FN, you are just hilarious!!!! LOL! Just you wait and see; Leafs will triumph yet!!!!

Hey we try what more do you want from us hehehe.

That's true, you do try, and besides, after 37 years, maybe a parade for making it to the 2nd round isn't a bad idea!!!! LOL!

Well the games begin tonight hopefully we see a W in the flyers camp tonihgt. GO PHILLY GO

Well the SNES just fired the entire coaching staff hopefully they get rid of Lalime next.

It's not like they didn't give Jacques Martin patience. But, you are right, they never really had a stand out goaltender up there. And, never really tried to get one either once they knew Lalime wasn't good enough.

Exactly he has lost in the playoffs to Toronto what 3 times you would think they would know by now he is not a playoff goalie especially when the owner himself was trying to get Kolzig to Ottawa and Mucler said he had faith in Lalime well Muckler should be gone to.

Well the Leafs went down 3-1 to the Flyers and the Sharks are up 3-0 in the first period and the Red wings lost to Calgary 2-1 in OT.

It's one big pity party at my house since the Red Wings lost. Anyone want to come? Misery loves company! :sad1:

Sorry Red Wings fans - I think I'm the curse.

I sided with my son, cheering for the Wings, and just like every other team I root for, they lost. Proof? Vancouver. Dallas.

:grouphug: I will gladly join you're pity party!

My friend Jason Williams actually got to play tonight for the wings he is none to happy right now I have to say. Tomorrow should be such a great game. The Sharks are hammering the Avs tonight 5-1 at the end of the 1st.

At least it was an OT loss for Detroit, rather than a blowout. One of my roommates is a Devils fan, and is taking great joy in teasing me about my Wings. (of course, I reminded him that at least the Wings are still playing, rather than working on their golf swing)

True, at least it wasn't a blowout. *Sniff* Maybe I feel a little better now.

Oh my, what a way for the Avs & Sharks to finish! :duck:
Gloves everywhere, penalties flying, even the goalie....

Get along??? In hockey??? Where is the fun in that? :p

Tough game tonight, but I knew Game one would be tough, coming off a 7 game series with Ottawa. I'm confident the Leafs can win, I think they'll get to Esche eventually.

On another note, Tampa Bay's coach was hilarious when they asked him about the Sens firing Jaques Martin. I believe he called it "horse sh**" twice, among other things. But I think he was right on the money when he said it just takes the blame off the players once again. That team just didn't deliver, and there's nothing Martin could have done to stop Alfreddson from scoring, or Lalime from allowing two weak goals. It's time to put the blame where it belongs.

As you may remember, I since every team I root for this season loses, I offered to root for the teams your team is playing against so they would win. Well since no one has offered me big bucks for my services (sorry, chocolate wasn't good enough for me), I have made the decision as to who to root for on my own in each series. So here are the teams I will be rooting for this round:

Colorado
Calgary
Montreal
Toronto (for a co-worker who is a die-hard Flyers fan)

So, Go Avs, Go Flames, Go Habs, Go Leafs!

Karen
