Who's the latest favorite CM from recent cruisers???

We had two. Simon, our head server(form England) and Anne-Marie in Palo( from South Africa). They were both great.

On the Wonder, we had Romi and Natalie. The were out of this world. At Palo, we had Marcelo, what a great guy!!!!

Does anyone know if Cornelius a bar waiter on the pool deck is still abord the MAgic? We cruised Dec 2001 and loved him....hope he is still aboard for our halloween cruise.
Donna

My favorites were.....Charles Marshall from the band, he is quite an entertainer; Fiona from the spa - she was terrific; Que in adult entertainment; SheShe and Shawn who are in entertainment and an officer....old friends from the past! It's so nice to see old and new CMs. It makes the trip seem more familiar.

We adored Sasha from Palo's -- he was our brunch waiter, and then we specifically requested him for dinner. On our last day, at the Topsider's breakfast, he was also bussing our table, and was as sweet and charming as ever, even in the middle of the hectic disembarkation. He and his wife are expecting twins, and I'm already trying to figure out how to send twin outfits to Croatia.

Darwin our stateroom host...the BEST!
Also Pirom and Luis server and asst. server. GREAT TEAM!

Another vote for Anne-Marie in Palo. Awesome is almost an understatement! We also enjoyed Christine in the Promenade Lounge - what a hoot! Just makes me want to go back - NOW!
All of the staff/crew we encountered on our 09/18 cruise were fabulous, making this trip a truely magical experience.

Gemma from Palo (sometimes she spells it "Jemma")

Lourdes from the Cove Cafe

Darwin our cabin steward

Toto and Oppie, our dining room servers

John Cunningham from Scotland, our head server

Pavi from the Spa

The Australian girl in Shutters, I forget her name

All of these CMs were wonderful. :sunny: I feel that they did more than just doing their job, they went above that. But I have to say that we NEVER encountered a CM anywhere on the ship who wasn't very nice, and helpful if we needed assistance with something.

We were very pleased with the service on the Magic :)

From July Magic...
Maricar - room steward. She was fabulous. Very attentive. Our ds (3) got sick and she was incredible with just checking in.
Luis - Asst Server (Brazil). He danced with our son, he got everything just right. Even spoke Portugese with (and with our son so we could teach him a bit). He also paid enough attention that I never had to order my drink after the 2nd night.
Iso - Server - I never got to eat my entire meal (time for ds to go to bed). He always had things delivered to me.

Also I can not remember their names.. but they were Asst servers from Jamiaca (sp?) - fabulous. Had my ds talking like bob marley. :jester:

Carrie in Treasure Ketch and
Rebecca who works with the characters.
Both made out last cruise on the Maagic truly Magical......

Otti our stateroom hostess from Hungary was incredible! She arranged DD's stuffed animals in the most wonderful and creative ways each day. Also, she and DD had a little game going with one of the stuffed animals, a monkey with velcro hands and feet. Every a.m. and p.m., DD would "hide" monkey somewhere in the room for Otti to find when she serviced the room. And in turn, Otti would "hide" monkey for DD to find. DD was always so excited to get to the room to find monkey. The cutest was on our last night, when we returned to our room after dinner, monkey was tucked in DD's bed, head on the pillow, fast asleep. It was a sweet and perfect ending to their game.

We would say our server Julio from Chile, Pan (asst server) from Thailand, John (head server) from Scotland and Calvin our room steward! They were all fantastic but my DD wanted to bring Julio home with her! Julio told her she should stay on the Magic.

Our Assistant Server during our August 2003, Prudence from Jamaica, was promoted, and was our server for our August 2004 cruise. Prudence has become like family to us, and we have requested her as our server for our next several cruises. Prudence just left for her two month vacation last week and will be back on the Magic December 11th. Have a great vacation Prudence, we look forward to seeing you in January!!!!!

:wave2:

my grandson really enjoyed JoJo on the wonder this August his magic tricks just kept my gs going each night !Jo Jo even left a few props on my gs breakfast plate for mygs to practice his tricks !! the last morning now thats the extra mile we always get from DCL!!

*Ann-Marie from South Africa at Palo was wonderful!!::yes::
She even stopped to say hello on the last morning when she saw us eating breakfast at Topsiders!

*Suchin from India and Dobrinka from Bulgaria were the best servers!!!:teeth: I get sad thinking of them because I miss them so much!!!
:sad1:

Another vote for Iso...at first I wasn't quite sure how to take him, as he is very matter of fact and he doesn't sugar coat everything like some others do....but he was funny, nice, honest and a great server....

Since we've cruised again I'm going to have to add to our favorites! Toto and Oppie were awesome on the 9/27 Magic. Even though things were shortened and they had fewer nights with us, everyone still fell in love with them! I have never seen two more infectious smiles! We also had Anne-Marie at Palo and she was super! We were there with four new people and she was so helpful and attentive! And as always our super favorite is John from Scotland, who wasn't even our head server this time - but he might as well have been. He spent as much time with us as if he were in our area and my DS 8 ate it up. He even learned to do his famous spoon trick! These people really do make the Magic "Magic"!:wizard:
