It's the weekend!!!

Happy Saturday! What are you all up to today? We decided not to go down the shore since I still have this nasty cough. I decided to make a Dr appointment. Then we're going to go look at fire places - hopefully make a purchase and have it done by the fall. The house can use some cleaning too!

Tony, I love our fireplace. I do hardly use it, but it's really nice to have, especially at Christmas. What kind are you going to get?

And I'm sorry you can't go to the shore, I hope you feel better soon.

I've got to go to work later and close so that's what I'll be doing today. Tomorrow too.
Get this, because of the race traffic, they are opening up 3 hours early and serving breakfast stuff for those who have to fight the traffic. like me. Depending on how reasonable the police are in letting people who actually live here get around. It could take me 10 minutes or 2 hours to get to work on sunday.

Serena - your commute seems like mine on a daily basis LOL!

We're looking at a gas fireplace. Nothing huge as our living room is not that big. We will use it a lot in the winter I'm sure as that is the coldest room in the house. They're not as expensive as we thought. For what we want - it should cost between $4K & $5K.

This weather!!! - I can't believe how humid it is, it's gross!

Nothing exciting planned for today, just a lot of chores. Laundry, grocery shopping, dog grooming and of course, plenty of computer breaks.

Okay, lousy weather here too, so it looks like the swim club is out of the question. I'll probably stop at the mall, and watch a friends daughter get married this afternoon at the church.

DH and I are planning to eat dinner this evening at the Cheescake Factory with friends, and to go see the movie Seabisquit.

This is a tax-free weekend here in NC, so I think I might go see what deals I can find. Well, it is supposed to be for back to school items, but I'm sure I can find something for myself too!

Happy Weekend to everyone!! Today I'm taking middle DS to a flea market so he can buy coins.....he's an avid coin collector!

Tomorrow we head up for three days to Mackinaw City.....suppose to be cold and rainy. Figures!

We're still preparing for our guests; cleaning, cooking, last minute details here and there.

You'd be surprised how much value a fireplace will had to your house Tony. Friends of our just had their home appraised, and they took off several thousand dollars because they didn't have a fireplace or a garage!

We love our wood burning fireplace, it adds so much ambiance during the holidays!

2 fireplace stores. The prices were a little higher than what we expected. We're going to have to shop around a bit!!!
