A boat to Downtown Disney (hours are 4 PM to 11 PM). The boat to the French Quarter runs from 9 AM to 9 PM).
Can someone tell us if this is still the correct times. There are different times depending one witch site you are looking at? Thanks

Here is the sign from POR taken in July.

If the boat to DTD doesn't start until 11:00a.m., is there a bus to DTD running before that? Or is the bus to DTD an option at all times throughout the day?

Could someone tell me what is the best room with a trundle to request??????/ Never been to POR before! Looking foward to it!

is there a possibility to hav a baby crib in POR and how much is the rental fee per day?

The Disney resorts have pack-n-plays with sheets. I don't think you have to pay any extra for it, just make sure it is on your room request. If you need an actual crib, you have to rent one from an outside surce and have it delivered.

We have used the pack and plays twice at POR (once with a 6 month old and once with 18 month old). And we thought they where great . Large enough for the child but didn't take up all the room in the room.

The only thing I have read about this is where and when but that's it.We will be going in Feb. and sure would like to more. WDWINFO is the only place I have seen anything on this.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't read all the posts so I'm not sure if I'm giving the info wanted.. :)

But the campfire sing a long and s'more making that I read about also includes a movie at about 8:40pm everynight
Its at the Fort Wilderness, here are some links...sept movie schedule isn't out yet, maybe tomorrow.

Just wanted to add a little something. Yes these buildings are great, so are 18 & 15. WE have stayed in 14, 16,17 & 27. On the other hand when we stayed in 28 it was quite a walk.Depending on what you are going to do that day or what you did that day is what makes it too long or not. Even a long walk at POR is a beautiful and enjoyable one. Somtimes we use these walks to discuss our day if it's just starting or just about to be over. I can not say enough about this resort every other place we stay is offend measured by POR. This resort is much the feeling of a deluxe resort with out the cost. You can never go wrong with POR-"OUR HOME SWEET HOME".

SCOTTNY,
sorry to bother you again but did you (or anyone) happen to take a pic. of one of the building signs in AB at POR that say the building number on it( it has a silhouette of a alligator on it ). I would like to make one of these that says building #40 and hang it off our back deck at home but the only picture I have of one is on video. Thanks

The poster is inquiring about a campfire at POR, not the one at Fort Wilderness.

Glad to hear so many buildings are nice. For our ressie (for 5), I only requested "not a parking lot view" because water view wasn't available.
Anyone know when POR was last renovated?

thanks for the info. Pack-n-play crib is just fine. We have that kind of crib as well and we use it when we travel around in Finland, but it is too much to take it with us now. we have surely enough luggage without it. :)

Thats what I thought, LOL But Fort Wilderness sounds better with a movie in addition to the camp fire. I checked that wdwplanner site and saw the POR campfire but no where else was I able to find it. I thought maybe I'll call and see if it still happens. I did read on the allears, net site that there is an internal bus from POR to Fort Wilderness. For us thats great since we have HDDR reservations!

It was under renovation when we were there in 2004 If I remember correctly.

We go again in Nov.

Enjoy your Nov trip! We won't be there till DEC 2008, so I was wondering if there was any rehab scheduled. I think someone said the playground was being updated.

I just recently inquired about the bus from POR to FW but apparently they no longer do that...you now need to take a bus to MK & a boat to FW.
