Oh, the castle lights!!! Ahhh - it takes me back! I'm so thrilled that you were having no lines for rides!! How awesome!

I am sad that you didn't have a good meal at Captain's Grille. Sounds like a really crummy server for sure. I think that most WDW restaurants are just coasting with those kids meals. They're nothing special for that amount of money. You'd think they could do better with a cheese pizza!

Might I say that your kids have changed a TON in the last year since we saw you!! Gracie is looking so much older! She is beautiful!!! You all look awesome!

Yeah..Festival of Masters! I knew I had heard what it was from someone.Don't worry about being late! Just glad you are here! Yeah...Gracie does look a little older, and she lost that one top tooth and the other one is barely hanging in there!!! Kids meals are definitely lacking...I always say I won't do DDP next year.. but really, I might not next time..she just doesn't eat that much..she could split with me, or Kipper...he didn't eat Half of his stuff most nights.

I'm here! I can't believe you did the hot air balloon!! Not sure I'm brave enough for that!

Hey!! Glad you made it!!! It was only weird when we were just sitting at the top and it kinda swayed when the people were walking...but it was totally awesome! I have always wanted to go up in one....of course, it helps that it's tethered down while you are in it!!! LOL

Hi!! How are you feeling? My sinuses are crazy,...yesterday was not too good...today seems to be pretty yucky so far! Mine is due to the weather going hot to cold! We were freezing from Thr night to Sun...then yesterday it warmed up to the 70s again, humid and wet...then rain and it's cold again....should freeze tonight....if it would get cold and stay I would be so happy!!

I think I'm with your son on the White as a sheet thing in the hot air balloon. Just reading about all the people moving to the one side made my heart sorta skip a beat. But the view was so cool, so maybe I'd have the nerve to try it.

I understand how your oldest felt on the hot air balloon. I get the same way This picture made me nauseated just looking at it.

It is a feeling that you always have-no matter how many trips, and it's so hard to describe. Kinda like you have been holding your breath...then you can sigh and let it out...taking in the Disney feeling! Don't we love it?

What a perfect way to describe how coming home to Disney makes you feel!

Shawna - I feel the same way about the DDP. We said we weren't going to do it when Sarah turns 10. But she will be 10 on our next trip (by a less than a week!) and we have so many TS meals - most are buffet, that we think we will do it. Dh just thinks it's easier. I did the "math" and it's probably a $50 difference. Of course, depending on what we order at the one non-buffet meal. We're not going to add it until closer to the time because it has to be paid when you add it (DVC rules). I have too much to spend my money on this month!

Yeah..poor thing...I totally didn't think about him being sick...he just kinda made a groan..but it could have been interpretted as a teenage-don't -wanna-do-this type groan also..so, I kinda didn't let that register. Till we are 400' in the air and he's about to buckle!!!! I have to admit, it did feel creepy when it swayed over at that one point. I definitely would not won't to put anyone on it that would freak out....like my mom. No way...she probably would have been calling 911 for them to take her in with oxygen-NO kidding.... Ha!! Just showed him the picture and Kims quote and he made a woooooh sickening noise and turned his head! Nope,we won't ever get him in that thing again! BUT...he did parasail last year and was totally okay with that. Not sure why...maybe this was in my subconscience when we lined up for it...

Me too!! The weather here is about like yours!! Hot and cold...run the air, run the heat!! I actually feel weird in my ears today..like there is water in there from swimming!! Which of course, I am out of ear drops! Gotta get some today..

Try to find Peppermint oil...the essential oil..do you have a Bath Junkie up there? or mabye Bath and Body in the Essential oil parts--its very good for opening up your head...shouldnt bother you as far as being pregnant.I rub mine on my writsts or forehead if I feel a sinus thing coming on...just smelling it really makes you feel better!

Thanks for the advice! I have to go to the mall tomorrow, so I'll check it out! We don't have a Bath Junkie, but I adore Bath & Body Works. I have quite a few coupons too.

We use the International Airport and fly Continental...we have reward points with them and we love it!! I have only flown out of Hobby once...we just always do Bush!

Mon November 15 is Park Day #2!! And our Epcot Day!!! We went in thru the back at the International Gateway...it was slow and the day was beautiful!!

These were all on the way thru into FW from the back-it was so empty!!
We went to Soarin and the line was showing 35 minutes..so we decided to
just go for it- I don't think we have ever done this without a FP...because I do not remember that line area...they had a really cool waiting line--with interactive stuff on the walls-pretty neat! The line was moving really fast at first...I don't think it really was quite 35 min..a little under 30 maybe. But, we didn't mind- we wanted to do it and not waste a FP unless it was crazy long. Next was Test Track...it was really long now-over an hour..so we got a FP for it. Next up, Spaceship Earth. We always love this ride! The line seemed huge, but it was winding really quickly--it was only about 5 minutes. I thought the sign was wrong for that many people, but 5 minutes it was! We wandered around the Future World for a while then the kids were starting to weaken and 'die of hunger'! We decided to try the Electric Umbrella-I can say I will more than likely...NEVER pick that place again. It was the most boring lunch we had all week! The burgers were so plain..I don't think I even got to half of it...fries and a side of grapes kept me going on this day! It was really slow service too...maybe we hit it on a bad day,but it wasn't great. Mike got a meatball sub and said his was great...the rest of us had burgers.
Now we are headed to World Showcase I looooove the World Showcase...where else can you go to all those countries, get authentic food, and have all the servers and staff be from that country?!! It's awesome!!!
At this point Mike and the boys were gettin a bit tired and wanted to go back to the room and rest. Me and Gracie said no way!! We have princesses to see and snax to find!!!!!! So....we went to Mexico first-rode the Gran Fiesta and dug around in the shops there.
We went to Norway....then on to China!! Went all around the shop there..Mulan was scheduled to
come soon...so we went on to Germany.
Now...this was what I had been waiting on for months!! The Werthers Store!!! I am a Germany fan anyway...my paternal Grandfather's family is from Germany and my maiden name is a shortened form of our German name...plus...I ADORE Snow White...was hoping to see her there. Anyway...we made it to the little Caramel Kitchen

So..we headed in and started inhaling the wonderful smell of caramel and sweets!!!
The large wall across from the counter has the Werther's story painted on it and it is soooo pretty!!

Gracie got a Caramel apple, which thank goodness they will cut in 4ths for you, and I got a piece of chocolate caramel fudge. Let me just say-I have never had a caramel apple like this in my LIFE!!!! And the fudge was melt-in-your-mouth delicious!!

We took it to a bench right outside of China and got to eating!! Gracie had a stone bruise I think on her heel--she had been fine and then this morning it had started to bother her. I went ahead and bought her some cute crocs with Minnie heads--it had helped her a little ,but she was still hurting pretty bad....so we hobbled over to the bench and took off her shoes and let her lay up and eat our snack. It was really fun.
By now, it's time for Mulan to come for autographs...she was a really pretty Mulan---her face was absolutely flawless. And her costume was perfect!! She was really witty too! She made Gracie do a warrior pose!! I loved it!

She watched the chinese gymnastics kids perform for a bit. Then we headed back to Germany to see Snow White

So, we made our way around to each area and looked around in the America store for a while..we found a Duffy, 2 diff outfits for him and the cutest little girl dolls!! I don't have a picture of them in my photobucket, but I will load some tomorrow..she really liked the blonde haired doll and was deciding if she wanted her for part of her souvie...it was actually 2 dolls-blonde and brunette. They were made for these singing sisters by their Grandmother..I think it's the Lennon sisters.. I need to go back to the tag and read it. We loved the American tree-especially with the lanterns hanging on it!

Next we made it to France...we were hoping to see Marie from the Aristocats...first we saw Aurora..she was great. Gracie had a hairbow, and Aurora was telling her that the Fairy Godmothers try to get her to do a hairbow, but she reaaaaally likes the crown a lot better!!

We were told Belle and Beast were out!! So, we went over to get in line(and boy was it LONG.), but we were gonna do it..but they cut the line off right before us! So..we were going back to France and guess who was out....

She was soooo excited!! We love Marie and she was just soooo sweet!!!
By now the guys were back and it was almost time for dinner! We walked around the UK for a bit....one of my favorite places in all of Disney!! The little cottages, all the English characters, the phone booths, hopscotch and accents!!! AAhhhh....I had waited to hang out here!!!! Dinner tonight was at the Rose & Crown...we have heard some bad reviews from others, but it's always a favorite of ours...we have never had a bad meal...and our waiters/waitresses are always fabulous!This year, our server was Sarah...if you go anytime soon, try to ask for her! She was awesome!!! And she was great with the kids..My two littlest kids ordered Bangers & Mash...Me and Mike got the Surf and Turf, and Saylor got Fish and Chips. We all got the soup too--it's extra if you are on the ddp,but we don't care...it's so good we have to order it and pay oop!!!! For dessert, Mike and Saylor got the Sticky Toffee Pudding,I got the Choc cake, Kipp got the Lemon Pie and Gracie got the kids ice cream. It was all sooooo good, I needed a wheel barrow to get out of there...but I sure did hate to leave!!!
After this, Dad took the little 2 all the way back to Test Track for a last run...me and Say hung around a little longer then we headed in. He went to the room to start getting ready for bed and I went to the concierge and got our Tix for MVMCP!!!!! Not too much longer and the rest of the herd were back and we did baths.teeth and crawled into bed half dead!! Epcot is the most walking EVER!!!! I was so glad to hit the hay!!!! Next day up....Hollywood!!!!!

It looks like you and Gracie had a fabulous afternoon in World Showcase. Isn't that Caramel Shop the best??? I had the BEST ever chocolate and caramel covered strawberry there!

AWWW, Gracie is such a doll! What a great smile! I love that she was eating a caramel apple with her missing front teeth!! Good thing they cut it up!

Paige and I did some exploring in WS on our own too and had a blast!

I'm excited to try that Werther's shop next trip.

Last year this time we were at WDW!!! sniff sniff. (although it's rather chilly there now!)
