It's the "little things"... what's yours?

This one is pretty personal to me, but one thing I am excited about is to spend my honeymoon at WDW! I've always wanted to do that, but never thought a potential husband would agree to it. So, I am very excited to be returning to WDW for my honeymoon ,and on my DFi's suggestion, no less! I'm looking forward to celebrating a dream come true.

Full disclosure: I teared up entering MK last time because I always wanted to go to WDW with my own Prince Charming, and it finally happened. Told my DFi (bf at that time) that I do that every time I see the Castle for the first time ;) Now that he's committed to spending his life with me, I might tell him the truth at the wedding haha

So in a nutshell, my little thing is realizing a childhood fantasy.

I like to try out a new resort each time so for me it's:

1. Checking out the resort and the resort pool on arrival day.

2. Walking into the Magic Kingdom for the first time.

3. Eating Kaki Gori at in Japan at Epcot. It's really just shaved ice but we love it and it's a tradition for my DD9 and I.

~ The purple road signs on the drive in...infact any time we're out in the car on the Disney estate!

~ The glorious Mickey waffles for breakfast every day :goodvibes

~ Mike at the All Star Sports pool bar :thumbsup2 He's ace, I'll miss him next time, as we're across at AoA hopefully!

~ Main St Bakery, wow, there's amazing things created in that shop!

~ Queuing for CoP, knowing it's a Walt Disney original.

~ Still, at the age of 26 getting emotional over meeting Stitch for the first time at Ohana breakfast, I just couldn't control it!

Congratulations!!

Going round the lazy river at BB or TL - just lazing and watching the sky!!

Sitting on Kali River rapids and getting asked by first timers 'where can I sit where I won't get wet!!! (Happens every trip!)

Rushing at RD to Dinosaur so my daughter can ride it three maybe four times straight off!!

I'll be back with loads more when I think of them....:)

I am enjoying reading the thread, it's so heartwarming.

Watching the excitement on my kids faces while riding the magical express
That feeling when we take our first stroll down main st. " we have arrived home"...
Everytime I hear "when you wish upon a star" at the beginning of Wishes... the tears....

:)

My favorites are:

1. Watching my daughter, who is 17, and too cool to hang around us, or her brother, and the characters, get caught up in the magic.

2. Watching my son be such a ham with the characters and see how fearless he is on the rides. I dont think he has ever been scared. Tower of Tower has been his favorite ride since we was 3.

3. Watching Wishes. I cry EVERY time! the castle show, the fireworks, even the crowd.

4. People watching. I LOVE watching other kids interact and see the magic. I order trading pins for my son ahead of time in bulk. this year, he said he didn't really want to trade and wanted to give those to other kids. So we did. If we saw kids with Birthday buttons, or kids having meltdowns, or kids that looked like they would like a treat - we would ask the parents if they could have a pin, then give them one, or two.. this was a hit! I would see the kids put them on right away and show them off! I loved this!

5. Character interactions.... more than the stand and smile and pose. These are some of my favorite memories

"For your safety, keep your hands, arms, feet and legs inside whilst the tram is moving, and watch your children." Always reminds me of starting the day at a Disney park.
