Hi everyone. I know that Rumbly Tumbly was doing some Incredibles Family designs but she's on sabbatical right now. Is there anyone else that could help me with a design for my large family birthday celebration the end of next month? I don't necessarily need the whole family (the "i" would probably be ok as well).

I'd like it to state:
"The Incredible xxxx Celebrate Bill's 80th Birthday at Walt Disney World" (or something to that effect) with a pix of the Incredibles or some identifying icon for the Incredibles.

I would be putting 19 people in this design - the youngest 5 and the oldest 80! I would need the design by April 15th at the latest. Please PM me if you need any additional information! Thanks for anything you could do!

PS: Yep, I said eightieth birthday! Ooh Rah! :dance3:

I will have a go at it tonight. I'm still learning photoshop, so this is a learning experience for me as well.

I'll post back later!:thumbsup2

Is this something like you were looking for?

it's PERFECT! (I am wiping the tears away from seeing it!) :cool1: :cool1:

I am so untalented when it comes to this stuff that I'm just amazed what others like you can do willise! thank you. :thumbsup2

I'm thinking about YELLOW for the shirt color (because it'll be easier to "pick out" in a crowd and there is a thread of yellow in the "i" for Incredible. Do you think that yellow would work for the color? And, if so, would we need to change the text to black or will the green stand out enough?

Would I be better off splitting the text to curve over AND under the pix (i.e., curve over = The Incredible xxxxxx's
curve under = celebrate Bill's 80th Birthday
?

Finally, do you think the girls should have the "mom" Incredibles to wear or should both sexes wear the Dad Incredible... since Bill IS the dad/grandfather to 7 of the folks who will wear this shirt on his birthday?

I love it love it love it! Thank you so much. :cheer2:

First of all, thank you for the compliments. I am so glad that you like it.

Now for your questions - and these are only my opinion so take it for what they are worth! LOL

For a yellow shirt, I don't think the green lettering would stand out enough. Black would certainly be better, but a lot of people find black lettering so bland. I could do a deep red lettering, different from the picture colour, or blue.

As for the curve, I did it all on the top so I wouldn't make the design too long, if you know what I mean? I think I can put it on the bottom - why don't we try it that way and see how it looks?

AS for Mrs. Incredible. I am kind of stuck in the middle on that one. I could easily go either way. One part of me says the current picture matches the wording almost perfectly, but I can see a woman not wanting to wear a shirt with Mr Incredible on it. THe biggest challenge will be to find a suitable picture on the internet of Mrs. Incredible! I'm sure it is out there somewhere!

I will try to make some of the changes that you suggested, I'll post them , and you can see which of them you like best - or you can take them all.

THis is only my second design, so I'm learning this as I go:goodvibes I think I can do the lettering on the top and the bottom, but I am not 100% sure.

I will work on it tonight after work. Stay tuned!!:thumbsup2

Either black or deep red should "pop" on a yellow shirt so whatever you think looks "popping" is fine with me.

yep, I get it. sounds logical to me. :flower3:

ok if you have time and want to play around with it then go for it. :thumbsup2

here's another idea for Mrs. What do you think of this... instead of a Mrs. for the girls - just the "i" logo for them to wear with the same text?

didn't have great luck w/Mrs. I but here's a pix link

"i" icon pix link or another icon linkI will try to make some of the changes that you suggested, I'll post them , and you can see which of them you like best - or you can take them all.

no problem either way! I appreciate all you're doing for me.

Sending all the pixie dust I can gather your way (and there was lots under my bed!) ... pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

I am so grateful for all you're doing; thanks for making such a difference to my family! :yay: :yay: :yay:

I came up with a couple of other designs. I had them finished just as you were typing your message! LOL

I will have another go at them tomorrow - it's almost midnight here:scared1: LOL

Let me know what you think of the redesign!:goodvibes

I will try the "I" logo tomorrow after I get home from work. I have to figure out a way to give it more of the WOW factor. I think the lettering is what is doing it? I'll sleep on it and try to come up with a better idea to give it more OOMPH! LOL

As well, I just noticed the spelling mistake on the Dash logo! Sorry! That is an easy fix for tomorrow!!!!

stop everything - make one for yourself right now that reads....

I'm INCREDIBLE! (because you are)

These are fabulous!

I bet my 10 year grandson will LOVE that boy incredible as his T-shirt! WOW! He is gonna love us FOREVER thanks to you! (He already thinks we're hip b'c I told him that his granddad wanted Guitar Hero 3 for Christmas! LOL of course I was just kidding but his eyes popped out of his HEAD! :rotfl2: )

AND, I think that boy design will be perfect for the "friends" who will join us for the b'day celebration.

I like the RED writing for Mr. - don't you?

Thank you so much for the compliment!:grouphug:

I do like the red lettering better than the green and I think black would have been too boring.

I'll work on the girls shirt tomorrow!

Time for sleep - my wife went to be hours ago!! LOL:lmao:

ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I like it! :cool1: :cool1: simply INCREDIBLE!

the kids are gonna be so thrilled with these designs; we'll be the hippest family (well to our family that is) in the WORLD! I can't thank you enough. (If you PM me your address, I'll mail you a pix of the finished product on the family at the World in May.) :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Well, now that I have fabulous designs... I am sooooooo unexperienced in this venture, I have no clue... can I just grab the pix from here (right clicking - save as pix) or do they need to be uploaded to photobucket so they can be expanded to full size?

Clueless in the Garden State!

Me again.

Would you mind doing a few name alterations on this one?
I'd like "Dad's" in place of "Bill's"
and another one with "Grand Dad's" in place of "Bill's"
and a third with the word "Uncle" added in front of "Bill's"

Will also request another name for the boy incredible in a separate post. No hurry; my timeline allows me to take till 4/15 to get these on the shirts!

thanks!

can you change this to design to add the word "Uncle" in front of "Bill's"?

also would like it changed to remove the word "Bill's" and replace it with "Grand Dad's"

thanks Willise; I should've asked for them sooner but I just got the kids tees today and realized that I don't want them walking around calling their grandfather "Bill"! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Thanks, Willise! They're simply.... um... INCREDIBLE! :dance3:

We're gonna have a rip-roaring good time with these designs. I don't know if I'll be able to get the smile off my face! thank you sooooooooo much. :thumbsup2

Made a list - checking it twice... uh OH! I forgot that I need a special Mr.Incredibles shirt for the birthday boy to wear! (Seems improper for him to wear the one stating "celebrating Bill's 80th birthday"... after all, he IS Bill!) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm thinking maybe something arched across the top of Mr. Incredible's head in a bold text -
"Incredible!"

reverse arched across the bottom of Mr. Incredible's feet in a bold text either -
"It's my birthday and I'm 80!"
"It's my birthday and I'm HOW OLD?!"

Willise, are you up to yet another request from me this week?

Hi there,

I finally starting to get over my pneumonia, so I did your request and fixed the spelling error on the Dash design.

Sorry it took so long. If you need different wording on the Mr Incredible, just let me know!

thanks so much willise!

I'm in various stages with my shirts - some are in the final stage (ironing the final product). I'll post back here once I get some looking spiffy with the iron!

glad you're feeling better! it does take awhile to regain all your strength so take it easy and don't overdo it.
