Hola... Im Brandi a 20 year old daughter to the amazing mother of Nikki....

Were planning a mother daughter trip to WDW October 31- November 8...

I figured today would be an amazing day to start our pre-trip, cause today is the day we paid this baby off!!! Our vacation is just right around the corner and i can hardly wait! I've already got my autograph book ready in my suitcase, my Disney character shirts, and im renting all the Disney movies i can to just catch up on my trivial knowledge. Oh i forgot, i also have watched that vacation planning movie like 100 times, any one else tear up when they watch it?

The last time I went was in 5th grade and it was a family event, my mom 2 brothers step dad, grandma and her husband all went. This time things are going to be so different, im guessing it will be emotional, fun, and probably one of the most amazing vacations you can think of!

Were leaving the 31 out of Detroit, MI at 8:30, i have only flown once and that was back when i went last time, my mom on the other hand has not flown at all! this will probaly be the most entertaining part of my vacation Shes planing on taking some kind of sleeping pill so she just sleeps... me on the other hand is planning on hitting the airport bar.

Pop Century was my moms hotel of choice, shes all for the flower pool. This time we have no men to carry bags so were rooting for the first floor, pool side. Yeah im pretty sure this is what she said.

Im mostly excited about this trip cause im going with my mom... We havent done anything like this before. Shes lately became one of my greatest friends, and theres no one else i would rather do this with... We have been through a lot these past 20 years, lost a few people who mean the world to us. We're going to remember..cry..and give a smile to every time we see a crazy woman with big hair on those scooters. So mom thanks for planning this trip for us.

Well thats all I have now, im pretty sure my mom said she was going to add on to, so make sure you watch for her pre-trips in this thread too!!

My Mom and I are considerably older than you all (41=Me and 63=Mom) But we are taking a Mom/Daughter Trip in Sept. with Free dining

Brandi, I hope you have the time of your life! My 22 year old daughter and I did a mom/ daughter alone trip earlier this month. It was everything we hoped and more!

Grandma has been on every Disney trip Brandi has been on so this will be her first without her. They were VERY close. She passed away almost 3 years ago. We still can't quite comprehend she is gone.

I'm sure it will be a good time. I've just made a small list of things I WON'T do.
1. Stitches Great Escape-stupid, ain't doin it!
2. Sounds Dangerous-again stupid!
3. Tower of Terror-okay the name speaks for itself!

so i have decided im using this as my disney diary...

Last night i decided after a long night of babysitting, i needed to go shopping online its my chocolate, i bought a couple things to take with me, a couple pairs of shorts, anther disney shirt. Im becoming uber prepared for this trip in the clothing department. I mean you have to look good for Mickey Mouse!!

Speaking of Mickey Mouse i used to be deathly afraid of him... We have this video of back when i was a we little lad, and we were in a room and i was hiding from him.. Pictures of me hiding from him... Wonder what was wrong with me!!

So a little about me, i've read a few of this and I guess thats the thing to do!! Im 20 years old, I serve at a wonderful restaurant called Bennigans, I have a cute little puppy named Minkiss, hes a lab/beagle mix. I still havent figured out what i want to do in life, so im just trying to explore my options, that makes mom a little sad Im still waiting for my prince charming. I have decided im not settling for less than the store book romance, I need to swept off my feet!! I've been told im not the brightest crayon in the box, but im the prettiest color my mom has a couple stories...haha

on paying off your trip! Yes it is a must that you look good for Mickey, and goofy and Donald and Don't forget POOH!
I must stay do get comfortable shoes! and break them in before your trip. I ended up with new shoes the day we left and had a blister or two, get some mole skin for the sensitive spots on your feet.


Nikki don't be a chicken SH!T do TOT. My Five year old went on it! My seven year old went on it and if you can do RNRC than you can do TOT!

No pretrip shopping for me, this chicky is BROKE! I really don't need anything I guess. Probably right before we go there will be something I just have to have.

Brandi got me a really cute bag for Mothers Day. It's brown with little Mickey heads all over it, kind of a Louis Vuitton look to it.

It's big enough to hold all my stuff on the plane. I'm going to keep my camera in it so I can take pictures while the plane is crashing.

And NO! She hasn't convinced me to ride it. Really we haven't even talked. Seems she dropped her cell phone into the pool and hasn't got a new one yet. Then her power cord to her computer is broken so she can't even e-mail me.

She hasn't dissed for a WEEK! Imagine the horror!

Hey guys! I'm finally here! I was supposed to hop over here like a week ago but life keeps interfering with my DISing!

Nikki that bag is awesome! Good job with that one Brandi!

I swear, I'm never pre-trip shopping again! I always end up buying clothes when we're at WDW and then I never wear the clothes I brought with me and THEN I don't have enough room in my luggage to bring it all home. And I'd rather save the money to buy stuff when we're there....that's assuming that I actually HAVE money to save.

My car broke down again yesterday, Nik! I just paid it off like 2 months ago and now it's gonna cost me $300 to get a new ignition coil?? Whatever that is....but it sounds important....

haha its definatly not pool weather... but thats why we used hot water from the inside... so i still havent gotten a new phone, and im using my roomates laptop... i miss having communication to the outside world...

I had a dream the other night, it was kinda funny actually, me and my mom were on the safari trip and it seemed like grandma was there too mom.... and every single animal came up to us.... and then we went to magic kingdom and we rode dumbo and as soon as we got off it, there was a lady asking me what my dream was, and i told her to stay the night in the castle and she said we could!!! so no matter what mom, we have to ride dumbo!!!!

Yeah were both pretty scared the planes going to crash, but im actually now planning a weekend trip to North Carolina to see my soon to be uber hot boyfriend... Jay..... he just got home from iraq and has offerd to buy my plane ticket to go down and see him. So i will be flying by myself which scares me even more. I dont want to have to sit next to some smelly guy who snores

Oh and i was talking to a guy i work with who works at disney a couple times of the year, and hes actually planning on being down there the same time we are! so it will be kinda fun, he told me he was going to take me out to the night scenes which should be fun, cause i will be 21 then haha he told me he once was tiger, and he stubbed hit toe in front of some kids and he said **** in front of them and one of the dads heard him and he was in unuterbelif!!!

well im off to give the puppy a bath he went fishing and smells like a pond​

I like it too! Yes, she did a very good job. The first thing I put in it were our MNSSHP tickets.

Were we on it together or on our own Dumbo. I'm guessing they have a weight limit on the poor elephant. I don't know if I'd want to stay there or not. Once you go up, you can't go down until morning. Though free dinner and breakfast would be nice!! ​

OMG I tried going online to plan a trip for October 2009 but they are only taking room ressies right now at the rack rates. I know that they will start taking ressies for the packages sometime over the summer...I check the site everyday so I can tell Lumar how much it will cost and hopefully he will let me book it.... although we are seriously considering moving to Florida so we might not need the whole kit n' kaboodle....

It's not he says we can't do anything until all my debt is paid off, which is a smart thing to do, but everytime I think I'm gonna have money to make a big payment towards something, I have some other reason to drop money. It stinks
