I have to admit I had never heard of this movie until this year.
Oldest DD went to a band party at a movie grill and this was the movie showing. Also, my Dad mentioned he LOVED this movie so my DH bought it for him. All my Dad says is "You're gonna shoot your eye out" and keeps talking about the "Leg lamp".
I can see this movie has quite the following.

I did not know that. Thanks for sharing. I also learned from this board that "Ralphie" is an elf in "Elf". He's the one who talks to buddy about the etch-a-sketches. I love a good cameo.
