It's someone's Birthday

Let's all wish a very Happy Birthday, and many more to one of my best pin friends Caroline (Lovingthemouse)
today is her birthday but she might not be able to get on line because she is going to a 3 day seminar in Portland tomorrow and has to finish packing etc.
She leaves at 4 am for the flight, and will stay till Friday. What can anyone do in Portland for 5 days? Her and a few other teachers are just going to hang out at the Portland Mall next to their hotel.

Wait, wait - teachers do not go to conferences to go shopping!!!!! :rolleyes:

They go to enlighten themselves on educational issues!!! However, if there happens to be a mall near the hotel... In 27 years of teaching, i have waited for the perks people seem to feel we have and finally, after thousands in teacher dues, I have a fully paid trip to a conference - with two good teaching friends. We will have a great time- none of us have ever been to Portland, OR before. Actually we get to stay until Sat - thanks for the birthday wishes Peggi!!! Caroline
