"It's So Much Fun Not Knowin Where You're Goin" Oct. 2013 Celebration! **6/22 FIN**

love the pseudo photo-bomb from the FOTLK Performer!

on the plus side, your coat is super cute!

very nice story of that CM ... though good think you were glad he did that - I could see some people not wanting information broadcasted. Very nice of you to mention his name / the story to guest relations though

We had Polo Comparo our last trip and actually thought it was pretty good - or at least did its job. Too bad they are now closed.

Gotta love the Disney Bus Drivers. When they aren't telling you the "real" future of FP+ or when the Mine Train will open they are busy dodging cars in the wrong area or telling you to stand up before arriving at a stop as being a safe way to inform them you want to get off

It was pretty awesome. ;)

And thanks! I like it a lot, which is why I've kept it even though I bought another (warmer) coat. Marie wants to know why I need both and that's the reason, that one is super cuter :thumbsup2

I just felt bad that we didn't actually do it at AK. I don't know why. Probably because I was so chilly that under my blanket I was like not thinking straight.

That is sad. Also sad about Babycakes because that cupcake was delicious.

And I don't know what it was about that driver but he was such a grumpy gills. He clearly needed to relax a little. Like, I get it, driving around vacationers on a bus for hours straight isn't the most fun job in the world but you could try and act like you're enjoying it? :confused3

Guys, awesometastic news. Taxes came back and we got much more money than expected! Meaning that we can do responsible, boring adult things and go to Disney! So September is back on! We booked our flights yesterday on September 20th arriving and September 28th departing. We still don't know where we're going to stay because it depends on a few factors, but Pop is definitely a major contender at the moment.

And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming!

Day 8, Part 1: "We want to move to Canada."

I slept really poorly despite how early we got back to the room. Constantly waking up and just being super uncomfortable.

So when the wake up call came at 8:30, Marie got up but I tried to go back to sleep.

And then I finally got up around 10. For some reason, I took zero pictures of us going to get breakfast at the Intermission food court but we did.

But Marie got herself a bounty platter with orange juice and I got myself some rice crispies, milk and an orange Fanta. If I could have though, I would have gotten like pizza or something.

Either way, we went back to the room and Marie took a shower while I organized our things for the day.

vse3k4.jpg

We set out our tip and then got ready to leave.

Before we headed to the bus stops though we decided to stop in the gift shop and pick up some pins as well as make a few trades.

2yl42o2.jpg

Here is me, showing off my new pin up at the top.

It's the 'Where in the world are we going today?' pin that spins so you can change your park to where you're going to go.

sffafa.jpg

And Marie picked up these pins. Yes, there's a Christmas one because she'd wanted to get one in our November trip but she hadn't so she was going to fix that. And the Epcot one you can move around to pick all the flags of the world showcase!

148n1ol.jpg

Showing off her pin from last night.

We had to wait for another bus to come because the first Epcot bus that came by was full. That's okay though, we didn't really mind.

mjo36u.jpg

Here Marie is on the bus. Our bus driver was kinda cranky too which wasn't fun.

We made it into Epcot around 1 and we were seeing Spaceship Earth.

2dsv4l.jpg

Well, okay, it's not a perfect picture but you get what I mean! I miss Epcot.

2w37ud0.jpg

Look at that line for Spaceship Earth. Clearly we were not going there.

Everyone's favorite fountain.

And then we went over to the World Showcase and caught the Friendship V leaving from Canada.

I got a mini photoshoot of Marie which could be summed up in the following three pictures:

GEDC1287_zpsfc807c38.png

GEDC1275_zps20c9b836.png

There were many more but this is the gist of the whole session :P

We got off the boat and headed over toward Japan.

GEDC1292_zps9584c097.png

Just walking through Morocco.

GEDC1296_zps877b2d05.png

World Showcase Lagoon is so pretty.

GEDC1297_zps7aa75c18.png

Where were we headed?

GEDC1299_zps6cf87eb0.png

We were headed to check in for our reservation at Teppan Edo at 1:20!

It didn't take long before we were brought upstairs to get seated.

GEDC1300_zps148b4425.png

We got seated with a really nice family from Florida who were also AP holders.

GEDC1301_zps3d501ed9.png

Marie confessed to wanting to move down to Florida and the family told her not to do it. In fact, they said that they would love to live in Canada!

So you know, people are always going to love different things.

Our chef was named Hismo and she was great. Marie and I both got the Tori (chicken) and I put it and the noodles away. Like, I ate every single bite and it was super delicious.

We headed out of the restaurant very happy and I am super looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks. I just love Teppan Edo so much. Eat there if you haven't, it'll be a great choice. I promise.

Day 8, Part 2: "I'm on a boat!"

Once were were all full, we headed over to the UK where Marie went to use the loo and I rolled myself over to Canada because Off Kilter was out and I wanted to listen to them some.

GEDC1306_zps61aa2e19.png

GEDC1307_zps1a253a13.png

Canada, you so beautiful.

After Marie came to join me, we went to the Northwest Trading Post to get my shirt.

oqakg5.jpg

of0nqu.jpg

If you've never been into the store, you should go into it because it's beautiful inside.

nn4olg.jpg

So we bought my shirt and then we decided that we had enough of Epcot for the day. I know, we did like nothing and we were leaving.

Every time I write more of this TR I realize how few things we really did but that's okay because it was still awesome and just being there and experiencing things was great.

Besides, we weren't heading out of parks all together. No, instead we headed over to the International Gateway so that we could take the boat to Hollywood Studios.

id4tgj.jpg

The UK is super pretty too.

Festival signage.

Exiting out of here was super cool. (I'm easily impressed)

Signage with the sun glare gives you an idea of what it was actually like to look up at the sign :P

France looms in the distance.

Marie is happy to be boating.

And now, enjoy the boating journey over to Hollywood Studios.

rsdemr.jpg

I'd love to stay at the Boardwalk.

Actually, I'd love to stay at the Beach Club even more.

I just wanna stay right between Epcot and HS and be able to walk to the parks.

The Swan. I admit it looks pretty, I wouldn't mind staying there either :P

Boat riding completed, we finally arrived into Hollywood Studios around 3:50 or so.

qywgzr.jpg

Obviously, mid-day we didn't exactly have to fight the crowds or anything in getting around.

At this point Marie needed another bathroom break and so she parked me in front of the hat.

Hey, I wasn't complaining this time. Not only was it shaded but it was not a trash can. So, it was definitely a step up.

I took the following two 'arty' pictures.

2d8fl2c.jpg

4j6rtl.jpg

While I was waiting, the Mulch, Sweat and Shears group came out and started to preform.

2qdu9ug.jpg

They were pretty great, actually. I enjoyed listening to them and it was a new experience for me so that was nice. But when Marie came to get me, we left mid-performance.

I'd stop for them though, if we had nothing to do and just wanted to relax and soak up the parks.

Day 8, Part 3: "It's okay, they're frequent flyers."

Our first destination was just up inside the hat where we looked around at the different pins that we might be interested in buying as well as traded a couple.

With that done, we headed over to the Streets of America because we wanted to catch Character Palooza properly this time around.

For some reason, we went through Pixar Place and we stopped to pin trade with a few CMs. Marie even got the American flag mickey head (which she was collecting countries) from a British CM with no accent, who also gave us an extra pin without needing to trade.

We continued on over to Streets of America. Since it was pretty empty, we had a mini photoshoot of Streets of America.

GEDC1339_zps5537f668.png

Oh lights. How I wish I'd seen you lit up.

GEDC1340_zps4bf8248e.png

Here I am, waiting.

The characters came out around 4:35 and we went and met Meeko first because why not.

GEDC1341_zps6f7d5a38.png

After that we got out to meet Pinocchio. Accidentally passing by Mulan who greeted us (oops!).

GEDC1344_zpscaa87b8d.png

Then we tracked down Stitch, who commented on how my nails should be blue and not green.

GEDC1346_zpscb6829e3.png

After that, we finally went to meet Mulan who was a sweetie.

GEDC1348_zpsfba6351c.png

GEDC1350_zps3b975fdc.png

It's kinda blurry. Again, my problem with me rushing to get out of people.

Once we got out we headed up and over toward Star Tours.

GEDC1351_zpsaed12659.png

We had to stop and take this picture, obviously.

We stopped a few people to pin trade during that time, but I didn't note anything about what we traded.

GEDC1352_zpsaf523c73.png

We had a little bit of a wait until our FP+ time so we grabbed some FP-s for after that (since the return time was the same as the wait, I didn't feel bad) and I then took some pictures of Marie waiting.

GEDC1354_zpsb5674396.png

THASMEEE_zps53e1abcb.png

Then a little after 5, we finally had our window open up.

GEDC1362_zps5427449f.png

Star Tours you so nice.

GEDC1365_zps5a9cc24e.png

We had an awesome CM named Mike who remembered us from before and told the CM who would be loading us that we were frequent flyers so it was okay.

Our flight took us to Hath and there was no rebel spy. But once again, my stomach was bad and we decided not to ride again.

So we handed out FP-s over to the CM to give away since there wasn't anyone in the area that was a group of two. Hopefully someone got it and it made things better for them.

Instead, we headed over to The Great Movie Ride.

GEDC1372_zps4219d499.png

GEDC1374_zps2efef420.png

RIP Bob Hoskins.

But we got the gangster side like usual. I really liked our guide named Zack though, he was super great.

For some reason I have no pictures of the following. Which is strange but I guess I just didn't feel like pictures or felt like we'd taken enough of them.

Once our ride was over we headed to our FP+ at TSMM. Where even the wheelchair line was long when we got in. However, since we were a group of two, we got to skip ahead and use the one ride vehicle that only seats 6 instead of the usual 8 (counting both cars attached).

Marie won again at 145,000 but I got 143,000 and it was a new personal best! It was awesome.

We got hungry though so the plan was to head over to Pizza Planet to grab some food. Except along the way we stopped and talked to a DVC girl who was from Michigan.

There was some chatting for a while and we pin traded. I got myself a Rabbit pin and Marie got a really cool Chip and Dale pin (pictures to come at the end of the day).

GEDC1376_zpsf91301cd.png

Marie got the pepperoni pizza, caesar salad, with a bottled water and the Minnie witch cupcake.

GEDC1378_zps93e84739.png

The cupcake. I think it was carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Neither of which I like, so that's why I didn't get it but Marie said it was very yummy.

GEDC1377_zps7a404fc9.png

Meanwhile I got the same thing Marie did except with a chocolate chip cookie.

During the meal, I ate up the pizza and the salad because they were delicious and as you can see in my picture, my TR notebook was out because I caught up in it during that time as well.

Day 8, Part 4: "Jesus would use an inside voice."

With our full bellies we decided to go ahead and do something we hadn't done yet this trip and go see the Voyage of the Little Mermaid since we had time before our FP+ for Fantasmic opened up anyway.

2up9qpj.jpg

There was still a little bit before the show was going to start, but we headed in. If you've never headed into this show in a wheelchair or with someone in a wheelchair, you've basically got like the far edge that has the lines on the floor and it's where you're supposed to wait.

Except, everyone waiting for the show was sitting down and there were people leaning against the wall where the wheelchairs and EVCs and such wait and these people were giving so much sass. Like, they did not want to move and they didn't appreciate me asking them to do so.

Finally a CM had to come over and tell them to move.

10mpfz8.jpg

Which was how we ended up with this view.

Anyway, we took some pictures during the show but none of them really turned out great because of the no flash rule so I'm just going to leave them out. I'm sure you guys can forgive me ;)

We both enjoyed it a lot, but had forgotten just how compact the story is. I mean, it makes sense, but you know, very short.

We made a quick bathroom stop and then over toward the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater.

9svx35.jpg

No, we did not ride ToT at all this trip. I didn't ride in 2012 (see Marie's TR for video of me chickening out) and Marie didn't enjoy going alone so much. Plus she didn't want to just ditch me alone in my chair.

We ended up in the Pocahontas Section around 8:40 and I was really sad because when we sat in the Mickey section Marie sat next to me but this time she had to sit in front of me and I sat alone. It felt lonely and weird to like not have her next to me. Not that we talk a lot, but I still like having her hand there to hold if I want to.

Oh well. I snapped some pictures during the show, even though they aren't the best, they're here.

2a7djti.jpg

Pocahontas as a shoutout to our section area.

Serious twirling going on here.

34ta0x3.jpg

I feel ya Mickey, I'd be cowering too.

3dgu8.jpg

29mt3tg.jpg

I have to say, I'm listening to Demi Lovato right now and it's so weird to see these pictures and hear music that is not Fantasmic music at the same time. I should fix this in the future.

Somehow, Made in the USA does not go well with the characters waving and dancing. What do you know.

iw3hbo.jpg

I did wear my Glow with the Show ears again.

Also, shout out to the kid behind me with ears who is looking like "wah?" at the camera. I want to be that person in other people's pictures.

In fact, I've made that goal. Every time I see random pictures being taken not with park icons or like as pictures of their kids that would be cute otherwise, I'm going to look at their camera with a face like I'm on The Office. And hope it's a Diser and they put it up and are like, "Wow, that person though."

Okay, I've gone off topic now. We waited for the theater to clear out before we started leaving.

24wbq7k.jpg

And then just out of the park in general because it was closed if I remember correctly.

rrti12.jpg

Okay, so, rant alert here. We headed out to the bus and there was this gospel teenage group that was getting on with us. And I've got nothing against teenagers and nothing against gospel choirs (I've been both in the past). What I do have something against is people who are really loud on the bus.

Like, I get it, this is exciting and you're here with your friends. That's cool. Please, please, please, on a bus, just keep your voices down. Especially at night. Jesus would have kept his voice down, I can almost guarantee it. He was respectful like that.

Either way, it gave me a slight headache because they were just that loud the whole drive back. And then there was an adult of the group there who was complaining the whole time back to the resort about the fact that the Magic Bands didn't work on all the rooms because the girls in the group switched around who they wanted to room with on like the second night.

I was just listening in like mild horror at how annoyed this lady was that the bands didn't magically switch to know which room the people were now staying in as opposed to the ones they were registered in. I just... I still can't. I can't with that logic. Like, Disney would know that your people are randomly switching rooms? Like the bands should just open all the doors? I don't know what they wanted.

However, the one bright side to the entire drive was that Illuminations was going on when we were leaving, so I did get to see some of it while we were going out.

When we got to the resort, I called my family to let them know how things were going we took pictures of our pin trades from the day (well Marie's because I didn't get ones of the three I traded).

2vsnvas.jpg

Marie snatched the Brazil one as part of the flag mickey ears she wants and because (I quote exactly here) "I didn't want the tour groups to get it."

Oh, love, you so silly.

sg7o91.jpg

Plus the USA mickey head (which she'd thought she'd never get because obviously USA CMs tend to wear them not on a lanyard). Plus a '12 pin to have from our first trip.

I have no more notes, but I'm guessing I probably finished up the TR for the day before we settled in for sleep.

Oh wow that's awesome news about September Amber. I got a pretty good refund too which may result in a Disney trip as well. :thumbsup2 And go figure, right around the same time (if it happens).

I'm not a pin collector, but I do like that "Where in the world are we going today?" pin. A lot.

I would love to move to Florida too. But I think I'd have to summer elsewhere.

Oh my goodness, I'm obsessed with the Gateway. I'm so amazed how little I used it on trips past, and now I go through there so much. It just feels awesome.

I so agree, these are my dream resorts. Honestly, I'd be totally fine with the Swan or Dolphin too if for no other reason than cost. The location is still pretty badass.

I still haven't met Pinocchio. I need to get on that.

You know, as much as I hate listening to loud people on the bus, or big time whiny complainers, part of me actually enjoys it because, THANK GOD THAT'S NOT ME!!!

That would be awesome. You'll have to share if you do, because DIS-meets :thumbsup2

I love the pin too. It's super awesome. I'll be wearing it all of our upcoming trip because I love it that much, though it takes two backs and of course I lost one like that day. Ooops.

I'd move to Florida but the whole marriage equality thing what it is, I'd rather not have to deal with that. Maybe someday I'll retire there or go down and work seasonally. Marie would have to immigrate there but oh well. We'll see what happens in the future ;)

I doubt we're going to go in May since our friends won't park hop and it'll be their first trip. Oh well, September it is.

Truth. They're so awesome. I need to save lots of money tot be able to stay there.

He was okay, nothing super special. I was really hoping to meet Bolt, but alas.

I know. Like, in the end I have to laugh at them because it's just like.. why? Why? Plus, I love listening to people in general. I creep on all the conversations because it's interesting to hear what other people think/experience/live like in general.

Obnoxious peoples are obnoxious. IT'S LATE KEEP IT QUIET JEEBUS

And the frosting for the carrot cupcake was actually orange flavored :P It was delicious, and I had you taste it, and you seemed to like it XD

And oops.. Well now I know ;)

Real Life Update 5: ZOMG Disney next week!

Oh goodness, I had planned for this TR to be over before next week's trip but obviously that is not going to happen. So, here's the schedule that'll be followed just in case I don't update again after today (though I'm hoping to):

Friday - We're leaving for New Jersey. One of our four friends going on the trip with us happens to live there and she'll be up this way tomorrow, so we're driving back down with her. She has a fear of flying, so us being there will hopefully help out.

Saturday - Mid-day we have our flight from Newark to Orlando with JetBlue (new airline for us!). We'll then head to a Marriot hotel where we'll wait for another friend to turn up, then go to dinner and stay up for the late arrival of the third friend.

Sunday - We'll check out of the Marriot, head back to the airport in the morning and meet the final member of the group before hopping the Magical Express to the All Star Sports.

Monday-Sunday Will be park days ;)

And then that Monday the 19th, we fly back to Newark and then hopefully hop a standby flight to Montreal. Otherwise, we'll hang out in NJ for an extra day and hop a standby to Montreal on Tuesday.

So that's all out there and we can get back to the October trip now.

Day 9, Part 1: Fiesta Hoy!

The wake up call came at 9:30 and Marie promptly got up. However, I'd had nightmares the night before (these were unfortunately quite common during the whole of my treatment and post-treatment time). So I asked to sleep a bit longer.

By a bit, I mean it wasn't until around 1 that we left the room. Again, I can't say it enough, but Marie was a total saint this entire trip because every day I start I realize just how much of the trip I spent sleeping when she was awake.

2424_zpsf943803e.png

We left our tip, got sunscreened up (finally using the last of our first can), and headed to the buses.

GEDC1457_zps71e3332a.png

You know, I sort of miss this building, even though it was obnoxiously far away from the buses.

Only at that time of day they were being shared and unfortunately for me, twice buses came by without room for me. Which made me feel worse about how late we'd started.

However, eventually we did land a bus and got to Epcot where we were greeted by this sight:
GEDC1458_zpsa6a1192c.png

Now, Epcot hadn't originally been a plan for this day because we knew that it was going to be totally crazy busy. However, my youth minister Todd, his wife Kara and their son Asher (who I mentioned in my first update because we flew in on the same plane) were supposed to be there. They'd just finished a Disney Cruise and were planning on meeting us in Epcot that day.

So because we had time to kill and because the wait wasn't long, we headed to ride Spaceship Earth.

GEDC1459_zps54be5ec6.png

This is the entrance through the exit that you have to take. It's actually nice because the sitting area is right there and it's air conditioned.

GEDC1460_zps6b63b902.png

Here's Marie waiting in the sitting area because they send you up at the right time.

I tried to take pictures of the actual scenes, but none came out well so instead, enjoy pictures of our future.

We tried to answer randomly to get a different scene from the first time we'd done it.

GEDC1460a_zps81726783.png

Here I am, breaking my arm after snow sports. We were both super amused that it was me and joked about how I couldn't catch a break.

GEDC1460b_zps49c3c639.png

Don't worry though, I'm healing and there was a robot to give me hot drinks.

GEDC1460c_zpse2803bcd.png

Now that we'd seen into our future, we decided that we were going to head for food because in the present we were starving.

GEDC1461_zps2c9bc908.png

Fountain with people. I have a lot of pictures with lots of people in them, but I'm putting them up just in case I captured a Dis-er in the midst.

GEDC1463_zpsd6781766.png

But you might also enjoy non-people fountain pictures.

GEDC1467_zps4e1bdde0.png

GEDC1468_zps01b50b24.png

GEDC1469_zps584fa2aa.png

For lunch, we decided that we wanted to eat at La Cantina de San Angel because Mexican food is delicious, so that's where we headed.

GEDC1470_zps7aaef323.png

They had opened up some seating on the inside because it was so busy, so that's where I grabbed a seat for us.

Air conditioning and no bugs? Yes, please.

GEDC1474_zpsa1329ab5.png

Light fixtures.

GEDC1475_zps8ca46ce1.png

Such pretty.

GEDC1476_zpsbc86adf7.png

Oh look, our APs. Mine is the Minnie one and Marie's is the Goofy one.

GEDC1477_zps0c415056.png

I took some pictures out the window just because.

GEDC1478_zps50d0e8b2.png

GEDC1479_zps27c6884a.png

Food! I got the tacos con pollo with chips and a bottled water. Marie got the nachos with just cheese, meat and tomatoes with a bottled water.

I loved my tacos, they were yummy! I'm going to eat some more next week. I think Marie thought her nachos were alright, but not too amazing (if I remember correctly).

GEDC1480_zps6f8279b3.png

For dessert we both had the churros. Oh dear goodness they were delicious. Soooo good. I can't even. I didn't dip them in the sauce, but Marie did and she thought it was excellent.

Once we were done chowing down, we took a trip to the Norway bathrooms before heading back over to Mexico to ride The Three Caballeros ride.

Holy goodness it is so crammed inside that pavilion though. Oh my goodness we were so afraid of running into things that it just became like a constant worry and we were uncomfortable the whole time inside trying to navigate over to the ride.

Eventually we made it though and we got on to enjoy our trip through Mexico.

GEDC1494_zps4649fb22.png

GEDC1495_zps194e5241.png

Fiesta Hoy!

GEDC1511_zpscce25115.png

Hola Cancun! I don't miss your airport at all.

Once we headed out, we decided to check and see if we'd heard back from Todd and Kara yet or not. Since it was not, we figured that we could do something to pass the time.

Day 9, Part 2: "Is someone proposing?"

My shirt that I bought in Epcot is making an appearance in this chapter! And well, the rest of the day too. But yes, this is the one that I decided upon and I'm happy with it.

Flowers because why not?

in4ens.jpg

Why hello strangers. Glad to see you here on this very, very warm day.

Given that we really didn't know when Todd and Kara would show up, we decided that we were going to use our time to meet a character. Big surprise, right?

11kkygg.jpg

Flower again. I was into the flowers for whatever reason that day.

Who were we going to meet? Want a hint?

jjlixz.jpg

Wait, that was too much of a hint. Oh well.

That's right, we were headed to meet Duffy!

I liked this part because there was shade and it was so hot that the shade was much welcomed.

We hadn't met Duffy our first trip and we hadn't even really known who he was, but this time around we were determined to meet this bear. Or, I was.

15o8hz5.jpg

LOOK AT HIM IN HIS LITTLE PUMPKIN OUTFIT *flails*

I mean, he's the cutest. And sooo soft. Honestly, I love that bear.

2llj0p2.jpg

Duffy, I love you. He made me so happy. He's so cute.

I'm a Duffy fangirl now. I'm pro-Disney bears in general actually. Bring them out.

Once we'd met Duffy, we hoped the boat to Germany because we realized that we needed to continue getting our Kidcot stamps and we were still holding out for word from Todd and Kara.

10gagyx.jpg

People. Hello people. I was not impressed at all of you.

It was busy that day, it was just like people almost everywhere we looked. And given that our first trip was the week before Thanksgiving after food and wine ended, it was a bit of a surprise for us that there were so many people around in October.

We made our way to China though, so we could go ahead and get our Kidcot stamp.

Stranger in the left corner, you look like you belong in the Canada pavilion. I'm just saying.

Once we had our stamp, we made our way to Germany. I know, we were just there and we went to China. I don't know what we were doing. Except looking for our stamps.

kecaya.jpg

We got our stamp and then started to make our way toward America to do the same. Along the way we saw people.

169nh5k.jpg

People. Everywhere people.

So we made our way to America to get our stamp and then Marie wanted to get an American Dream.

That's when we discovered the shocking truth. THEY GOT RID OF IT.

Well, Marie discovered the truth, I scoped out a table outside of Liberty Inn. Still, she was heartbroken and got a frozen lemonade instead.

30sgfti.jpg

This is the face of sadness.

Shout-out to the girl in the left that's looking at Marie pouting over lemonade like, 'what is your problem'?

11hunmd.jpg

Marie's sadness still runs deep over this.

Then everyone's attention was drawn to the sky as letters started appearing!

33ni63a.jpg

Speculation ran deep. Was someone about to be proposed to? Was this going to be a big moment? People were looking around expectantly and chatting.

2nizp60.jpg

And nope. People were so disappointed. I mean, it's all good and well, God loves you, or you love God I suppose if you want to take it that way.

I have to admit that a proposal would have been more exciting. Marie and I discussed the sky writing but I won't bore you with the details of it.

Then we headed over to Japan to get our stamps.

33z362f.jpg

No, you're the one that's great, Mr. Fanny pack guy!

rleydh.jpg

This time we did manage to get our stamps.

ajx9bm.jpg

Hello people. I hope your day was magical.

Our journey for stamps took us to Morocco.

2n8n0ol.jpg

The sun glare in this photo just reminds me how hot it was. Whew.

After we got the stamp, we found out that Todd and Kara actually weren't going to be able to make it because their rid bailed on them. Bummer. So, we decided then and there that we were kinda through with Epcot for the day since we weren't really interested in waiting in lines.

They asked if we wanted to meet at Downtown Disney that night but we turned them down, we had other plans.

Amber, it's actually really nice to hear how much you appreciated Marie's patience. But I have a feeling you would do the exact same so clearly you were meant to be. :) Incidentally, I totally enjoy your banter back and forth in comments on this TR (and hers) like you never ever actually see each other. It amuses me. :)

Haha, still hoping for that random DISer photo. I have to admire that. But... timely with the stupid soaking me fountain!!

Yup, liking the shirt!! And YAY for Duffy! I love that he's getting more and more love. He's a very special bear to me.

Um, not sure what's up with the American Dream. I definitely had one in December. So maybe it was only temporary.

Yeah the skywriting. As much a part of a Disney trip as anything.

Well she clearly deserves an award, like, woah. It's like everyday day in my notes I talk about going to sleep or nap or whatever and Marie just spends hours doing I don't know what while at Disney World and she never gets upset or annoyed with me. It's magical.

It's those almost 3 years of on and off long distance relationshipping ;) We have to talk like we never see each other even though we're literally like living together for real now.

Hey, I want someone to come forth and say 'That's me in the photo you just commented to and I thought you were a weirdo because who pouts over lemonade?' :thumbsup2

I love the shirt, I wear it a lot and it's packed for next week, obviously. I mean, I can't not wear it ;) Duffy is special in general. I put him on the list of characters to meet if we've got time with our friends, since obviously they're all like 'Who is Duffy'?

Oh my goodness, I hope it's true because Marie is going to die if it's not, now that she's been given hope again that it might be back. Just so you know, that's on you  JK. Sorta.

See, we didn't see any our first trip so it was so weird for us. We were like... what is going on?

Amber,

Been following along for awhile now so thought I'd finally say I'm really enjoying your trip report!

When I was at Epcot last March I saw Duffy and have to admit I didn't know who he was either, but with all the kids surrounding him I knew he had to be someone special!

We also saw the sky writing while we were at MK and we were confused about it, everyone also kinda stood around like 'okay.. What next? Is something happening?' Nothing happened then either..

Enjoy your trip next week! (I'll be there starting on the 16th woo!! I can't wait!) and take good notes, after this trip report I'm hoping for another great one!

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that you've been following along and it's good to 'see' you

I think it's great that there are things like Duffy to discover at the parks and he was the sweetest bear.

Yeah, I don't know what it was with the writing. There was a lot of it thorough out the day and we were just kinda confused I guess :confused3

Ooh you're getting so close too! I hope you have an awesome time! Maybe we'll even spot each other in the parks ;) May you'll end up in my next TR (which will be co-written with Marie so that'll be interesting) in a crowd shot .

I'll do my best to take the most notes and do it well. Although I admit that I've got some anxiety about the trip and making sure everyone has a magical time, but hopefully it'll all just be me being silly about things :)

Currently, I'm sitting in New Jersey typing this up because we got up earlier than needed, but we're flying to Orlando in just a few hours! That's right tomorrow I'll be back in the World. Everyone freak out with me. Okay good, we're all on the same page.

Update: I'M POSTING THIS FROM A HOTEL IN ORLANDO. AHHHH!

Day 9, Part 3: "Amber, stop."

So when we last left off we heard from Todd and Kara finally that they weren't going to show up due to a ride situation. Given the heavy crowds because it was a Saturday during Food and Wine, we decided that we had had our fill of Epcot for the day.

Which was why, we decided to catch a boat from Morocco over to Canada. Yeah, we were lazy, it was hot, we could have walked (or Marie could have pushed me), but we just weren't feeling it.

Because it's better than construction sights?

All the people in these pictures though. You can just see them everywhere.

I was in a picture taking mood that day. It'll get worse as we continue, hence the title.

We got on the boat and I took lots of pictures of Marie, again. Here are some of my favorites:

GEDC1566d_zps327407dc.png

There was something really incorrect or weird being said and this was Marie's face in response.

GEDC1566e_zps229a3fb7.png

She always tells me to stop but I always get her to smile.

GEDC1566f_zps9d061cfa.png

Again with the incorrect information.

GEDC1566g_zpscfaac3a7.png

We had to stop in here, of course.
