It's so HOT, but I can't bear to turn on the air conditioner

I can't believe how hot it is today. Yesterday was pretty warm, but it was cloudy. Today is hot and sunny, and the house is getting really hot. The upstairs thermostat says that it's 78 in here. But I can't make myself turn on the AC for some reason. It just seems to early, and I think it will be depressing when I inevitably have to turn the switch back to heat in a few days.

Anyone else ever have that problem?

I turned the furnace off yesterday and opened windows...I think it got up to almost 60 outside..

LOL! It was pretty warm here, maybe about 55, but winter's coming back tomorrow. I think the end of the week is supposed to be pretty warm, in the 40's and 50's. Whoo hoo! Spring is in the air!

BTW, so that you don't all think I'm nutty, I did consider opening some windows. But today was apparently fertilize-your-lawn day in our neighborhood, and it stinks outside. I don't want the baby breathing in fertilizer.

It was hot in my house, too, but I solved that by spending the whole day outside. I worked on sprucing up our deck and then I went and picked about 100 daffodils with DS's girlfriend. Now every room in our house has daffodils in it and the whole place smells like spring!!!!

Today hit a high of 48. The rest of the week won't even surpass freezing, according to the weathermen. And we're expecting snow every day between Tues and Fri

Amy, it was hot over here in Easley as well. We too talked about turning on the air, but I agree that March feels too early. We managed (spent most of the day outside anyway) and of course they are now saying cooler days the rest of this week. Nothing like living in the South!

We have 3 a/c's. My SO has run the one in our bedroom almost every night for the past month or so. He freezes me to death! The other 2 haven't been run in a few months.

It was in the high 60's here today, it might even have gotten up to 70 something. I don't want the a/c on until it's in the 80's though.

I am waiting for the day we can turn on the AC. Right now it is -3, and the wind chill is much colder. We are supposed to get 4 inches of snow on Wednesday. I would much rather be out watering my flower than shoveling snow!!! I want to move where it is warm

Kermit, not to be rude, but SHUT UP! It's 15 again this morning! It got up to 45 on Saturday and we went out w/o coats for the first time in what feels like 6 months. I only wish we had your dilemma! Enjoy it for us.

Well we are suppose to be at 58 on Friday, 60 on Saturday, 58 on Sunday, and 58 on Monday......
