10 days left!!!!!!! I have already started packing This trip has been over a year in the making, and I am SO ready to go! This week I am making our t-shirts for MNSSHP. I had the oil changed and the air filter checked this morning. Just running down my checklist of things to do!

So where is the thread for the "post-Disney letdown"??? All of the planning has built all of my excitement up to an immeasurable level....I am just afraid of coming home and being sad that there is nothing to look forward to. Sound crazy??

We are so excited! We are leaving in 6 days! We too originally planned a shorter WDW but the Free dining was an incentive so we are staying 9/11-9/22 YEAH!!!!!! I too have worked myself into a frenzy of excitement! Actually I should be cleaning the house but here I am on the Dis getting the best tips.

My husband just called home (I told him I was going to be cleaning out the kids' closets etc) He laughed when I told him I was on the DIS!!!!

i do think I am going to start planning a "girls only" trip with my sister and BFF for February. Only a long weekend, but hey, its still Disney. It will be fun to do more grown up stuff. Who knows, with an AP discount, we may be able to swing a deluxe!

I totally get how you're feeling. I just keep thinking to myself..."I'll be there soon, I'll be there soon." I haven't been in 6 years so I have an incredible unreal jumble of emotions going on. I can't believe I'll actually be in WDW.

After this trip, I know I'll be sad because I won't have anything else to look forward to. No more vacations in the work. =(

I try not to think about the end though.

ok...i haven't posted since day 9 , because Murphy's law has been kicking my rear end around here! Thursday morning, both of my kids wake up sick. One with a sore throat and one with an earache. I immediately go into defense mode, and call the Dr. Turns out DD12 has an ear infection in both ears, and DS8 may have strep throat. (the rapid strep test was negative, so we are waiting on cultures). My sister, who is also going, has a sinus infection and bronchitis, and her best friend (who is also going) had a stomach flu, and her OTHER best friend (who is also going) her daughter has strep throat too. The only thing that i can be thankful for right now, is that this is happening NOW instead of next week. On a happier note....Pop Century is giving us a refrigerator for antibiotics at no charge.

4 days to go....the kiddos went back to school today So I was able to get back on track with my "to-do" list. Ds8 is still coughing his head off, but is strep negative-yay! I am hoping this is just a nagging cold and will pass soon. DD12 is doing fine. I was concerned with her swimming and the ear infection so we are using earplugs- just in case. I actually started really packing today.

3 days to go....

So, this morning I got up and was coughing terribly in the shower. So, after I took DS to school, I headed to the nearest store and bought some Zicam. Hopefully, it will work and we will head off a bad thing before it happens.

Can I tell you something....God answers prayers...even unspoken ones. I have been wondering how on Earth I was going to get 4 people, and all the luggage for a 10 day trip into my little old Honda Accord. It wasn't stressing me, but it was a concern. Dh's boss asked him this week if I would like to borrow one of the company cars to drive down there. A Chevy Trailblazer with a 3rd row seat and DVD system. Hallalujah!!! Of course I said yes, and thank you many many times.
