I think I'm going to start referring to him as "Eldrick" or "Mr. Woods". To me a sport-figure's nick-name implies comfort and familiarity, neither of which I have in regards to the man.

I hope Elin has a lifetime pass for getting tested and treatment for every sort of STD known, including HIV and Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B.

This was my thought too (about the STDs). The number of germs he may have exposed Elin to is itself grounds for divorce I think.

I know. While everyone is cheering Tiger's comeback, Elin (and Sandra) has to deal with these types of issues alone with no cheering section behind her. Don't forget HPV!

It may very well be true, but there is no major news outlet confirming this. Even the website of WESH has nothing? I don't doubt that the OP heard this on the news, but there is nothing on their website that I can see...and I searched.

The only "source" I've seen with the info is Entertainment Online. And I know, often the rags and tabloids have it right, so I'm not going to dispute it. I just want to see it from a credible news source before I believe it.

It has been on other news here in Orlando as well. Personally, I hope they just drift quietly off and divorce, go their seperate ways, and Tiger just goes away altogether. Sick, sick, sick of hearing about him.

There is no way she should have even considered reconciling. Are you kidding me? What was there 12-13 other women...some were "adult movie" stars. Why would you even hope that they would reconcile?

Random guy gets infatuated with a co-worker, a HS sweetheart...you want to forgive? Ok. But Tiger? No way.

Nicely put. He didn't have an affair. He went on a bender that lasted for years with absolutely no consideration for anyone but himself. I feel sad for his wife and children. Shoot me, but I even feel a little bad for his "companions" if they truly thought he considered them special. Even if his wife still loves him she needs to cut him loose.

Well, when you think about the sheer number of women he slept with while married, it's hard to consider reconciling...even for the kids sake. How can she ever trust him again. I hate this for the kids, but I think Elin made the right choice. She's gorgeous and rich. Not that this lessens the pain or anything, but she is gonna do just fine. Eventually.

I "think" Alec Baldwin was asked about what he thought of this mess a few months ago. I'm paraphrasing here, but basically he said "Has he SEEN his wife????" I thought that was really funny. They don't come much prettier than Elin, esp compared to the company Tiger was keeping.

That and his text messages. He really dug himself deep in it.

I think she's set a great example for her kids. she's not being a doormat and forgiving the unforgivable but being strong and showing that cheating just isn't okay, they will know about this when they are older....there is no way they won't find out.

Good for her, personally I can't imagine staying married to someone I couldn't trust . She is setting an example to many, I applaud a strong woman who is willing to play second fiddle to no other and puts herself and children first . He betrayed her and their vows, now he must pay the piper. How sad and difficult this must be for all concerned.

I also feel badly for Tiger's mother. She has to be going through some dark times too. When my husband left, his mother came over and cried on my shoulder. Mothers hurt too.

I agree! These women need to start standing up for themselves & I'm glad she's setting the example. Cheating is not a disease! All these celebrities going to 'treatment' and being forgiven. 5 or 10 yrs ago, they'd have just been cads! Now they're the victims.

While I feel bad that his kids will be dealing with this as well, glad they will not have him as a 24 /7 reminder of how he disrespected their mom, their family and them. Hopefully they grow up knowing with better values if they are not subjected to his "I'm rich and famous and can do whatever I want" out look on life. The guy is an arrogant pig who felt entitled to whatever he wanted no matter who he hurt in the process or what vowes he broke. I wish Elin were staying and Tiger was hopping on a plane to another country instead, she sets a far better example for society than he does. It turns my stomach that the media keeps putting him everywhere, glamorizing him still..showing that no matter what a lowlife piece of scum you are, you will still be famous and wealthy becasue we will still put you under the spot light. Surely there are other people who the media can share with the world.

I'm glad she's not staying in this marriage. It's unfortunate that Tiger will continue to be celebrated as a golfer and now a guy that gets lots of "hot girls" while Elin tries to recover. So sad.

I never thought she'd stay. I'm sure she had many days she couldn't even get out of bed. But hammering out a divorce between couples with kids and just one house can take a long time, I imagine they have been working on some way to divide things for several months.

I agree, but I also wonder why anyone would want to be with him now knowing what a scum bag he really is. I am sure he will find someone though, because of his money. Some things are just not worth it, and this is one of them.
